This church does not care
It is so common in the christiandom today to hear people who quickly arrived at the conclusion that this church does not care. Whenever I come across such people who lack the understanding of what the church really means and what it represents, I know they have an urgent need that only God can fulfill in their lives but they are seeking the fulfillment of such need in their lives from the wrong perspective.
When people arrive at the conclusion that this church does not care, it quickly dawn on me that they are the ones who did not care. By the speech of them who did not care, you will be able to identify that they do not care indeed. When I come across any one who is bold enough to tell me that this church does not care, I will be eager and courageous enough to ask the person on which aspect.
You are not made the judge of the house of God
You can’t come to a denomination and conclude they don’t care without any comprehensive statement to back up your claims. I have come to realise that some persons actually try to join a denomination, not because they are willing to yield themselves to help that denomination experience a new wave of revival, but they are there for assessments as though they where given a special assignment and it is their responsibility to be going about one denomination or the other to ascertain which church does not care.
When have people become the Holy Spirit to start convicting the church of its wrongs. No one was ever made to be the judge of the church. You can’t just step into a denomination that you are not among those who build it and start to condemn it with the statement that, that church does not care. Even if it does not care it is never in place or position to judge. It is never in your audacity to issue such prohibited statements that have the capacity to ruin the heart of many.
Do not criticise what you do not have the capacity to provide adequate solution.
People who are quick to say this church does not care, are the ones who does not care. Those who are driven by such disgusting statement, are those who are indeed blind. Though their eyes may be wide open but they are blind towards the things of the spirit. Anyone who understands what it means for the church does not care, should be able to provide the right evidence of the church that cares.
You can’t provide the right answer and solution when you so much aimed at condemning its methodology. That is the challenge with those who are going about one denomination to other with the stigma of this church does not care. It is a cancer they were unable to handle and they are going about looking and seeking for who they are going inflict with it to polute the crew. You can’t be the only one crying this church does not care while there are others who enjoyed tangible presence of God at each meeting.
One’s growth in the knowledge of God and its application is a genuine evidence of maturity in the kingdom.
The greatest challenge of such people is not that the church does not care, the greatest challenge is that they refused to grow. What is your measure that a church does not care when you decline every effort that was made to get you into the discipleship process. You came the way you are and you want and prefer to remain the way you are to be a judge over those who are growing. The church will keep matching on whether you decide to yield to its methodology or not.
Why many people are quick to say this church does not care was because they have checked and found out it is as though they are left behind. Everyone seem to overtaking them. People who newly joined that very denomination are doing exploit for God while they are still roaming about like a hungry lion looking for who to devour. When you fail to yield to the methodology of any denomination is a prove from your attitude that you are just a visitor or a spectator. You will be treated as one if you post yourself as an agent of discouragement to others.
You are as matured at your level of yielding.
Releasing such rash statement from one’s mouth is a prove that he or she is a baby Christian. I don’t have issue with someone being a baby, I only have issue when the baby denies training that will enable him or her grow into maturity. Can you see that the problem of the church is not that it does not care, it is individual’s failure to adapt to training that made the church seem as though the church does not care. You are the church that does not care.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” (Hosea chapter 4 verses 6)
Do not be that church that fails to grow.
You identify yourself with a denomination, 3 years down the line you have not added any virtue to who you used to be. You only show up once in a while without any genuine reason of been absent to service. Weekly activities is never for you. You claim to belong to a department yet you never informed your head of department about your absence to church services. Even when they called you, you always have something to say to justify your action. When you are feeling fine, you want everyone to start calling you even when you did not make it known that you are sick. You end up saying this church does not care, no you are the one who does not care.
This church does not care, you as a church does not care. If everyone is as you are what will the church of God look like. Why that denomination is still matching on and growing is because others have decided to yield their lives for the church of God to be matching on. But you, you never care about how the house of God would have been if everyone was to be you. You know it, if everyone was to be you, that the house of God would have been a complete mess up. Have you seen why you are the church who does not care.
In conclusion:
Your nonchalant attitude never to pay attention to the things of God and embracing the responsibility to add to the church growth has relegated you. Nobody relegated you, you relegated yourself. It is your lack of seriousness to be part of the team who makes the church to keep matching on, has made many to lost interest to call you when there are issues at hand. You have proven yourself that you are worthy of nothing in the house of God. It is your responsibility to prove yourself relevant if people will think you relevant.
When you start paying the price to grow in the knowledge of our Lord and master Jesus Christ, you will become better than you ever think and believe. Then you will start becoming a church that cares.
