Your responsibility repels pride
“If pride were to be a gift, no one should bring it to me.”
“Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” (Proverb chapter 16 verses 18).
One of the deadly tools to destiny destruction is pride. You can’t go through the path of destiny fulfillment being proud. That is a dangerous trip one can ever embark on. Pride is worse than a cancer in the marrow of the bone. It is a cancer of the soul that destroys both the soul and the fulfillment of one’s responsibility. Any view you make towards accomplishing your responsibility from the angle of pride is never a safe one. Pride can take you on a journey, but it can’t get you to your destination. King Solomon said,
“A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.” (Proverb chapter 29: verses 23).

Pride is the greatest hindrance to the accomplishment of your responsibility. It never makes you to accept that you have made a mistake and it keeps you longer on the process to accomplish a task. It makes you to always carry yourself gorgeously even when you finally discover you can’t go out of your decision. It makes you to always look down on others and believe you are the only right person in the team.
It makes you to think and believe you all it takes to accomplishing your responsibility without regard to your Source. It makes you believe you have acquire the right character and elude you to amend even when those around are complaining of your poor character. It makes you carry your shoulders more than its level and pretend to be who you are not. It fills your mind with the thought you have arrived looking at little accomplishment before you, while you have never started.
Pride has made many who would have finished strong to park on the way.
Pride is devastating. If you don’t stop it, it will definitely stop you. Pride is never a friend to be welcome. When you give it a space, it will want to take over. Never give it a chance as you walk through the path in accomplishing your responsibility. Pride has made many who would have finished strong to park on the way. Pride is not just a deadly sin, it is also a deadly diseases that can cripple one from accomplishing his or her God given responsibility. Any thing that can stop you from effectively fulfilling your responsibility on earth, can as well stop your life to count. Pride is a destiny destroyer.

Pride is a huge barrier to personal development; and as well brought about reproached. “While envy is the deadly sin that comes from feelings of inferiority, the deadly sin of pride comes from feelings of superiority.” John C Maxwell.
Stop thinking yourself big than you should think
King Solomon said, “Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.” (Proverb chapter 16 verses 5).
Whoever you are and whatever you have become, it is not by your power or might, it is by God’s mercy. Every thing about one’s success in this life is all about God’s favour upon him or her. Stop thinking yourself big than you should think. We are all the finished product of God Almighty. He made everyone of us in His image after His likeness that we might live to reflect His glory. Never you think you are better than everyone else, that could be an abuse on God’s priviledge.

Conclusion
Let us live to encourage one another in faith. Don’t think less on anyone. Everyone is a special gift from God Almighty. You can’t live to look down on anyone because the same person you look down on out of pride might be the one to give you that crucial assistance you ever needed.
