CHAPTER 7
Your responsibility demands your best
God’s Spirit in you stirs you to give your best in any given responsibility. Nothing is demanded of you rather than your best. If it is not your best it does not deserve it.
“God wouldn’t have called man into existence if he had no responsibility to accomplish.”
This is one of the episodes I cherish so much. It’s truely about the end result of any given task or responsibility. It is all about thinking and having a clear picture of the best in any delegation. Nobody is born inferior, everybody is born the best. I have indulged in some task and responsibility that did not work out as pursuit. I tried and tried yet nothing to show for it. I often came to a conclusion that I have done my best. You may have found yourself in the same and made such drastic conclusion like mine. The fact remains, what is our best when we have nothing to show to review that. I finally came to realize that my best is not the best until the best is achieved.
You are the best ever created for a specific responsibility.
In the journey of life, life was fashioned until you contribute the best, not your best, you have not contributed any thing. There is no controversy about your existence concerning your identity. What do I mean by that? You are a product of God’s best and whatever responsibility you are to accomplish, demands the best. You are not an accident, neither is your existence an accident. You are carefully, fearfully and wonderfully made by God almighty.
David said, ‘I will praise thee; for I fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.’
You are the best ever.
You are a product of God’s best to accomplish a specific task and responsibility which God can effectively display His glory through you. You were created for God’s glory. Whatever you lay your hands to do demands the best. You are the best of your responsibility.
God must have taken all the time in creating just you, having the best of you at heart, that includes your responsibility. You are the right person ever to accomplished your God-given responsibility. God did not only take all the time in creating you, your existence drew so much joy and pleasure in His heart. Your height, size, shape, body complex, the notion, tribe, culture, language and the family you are born in was all perfectly planned by God for you to fulfill your responsibility effectively and efficiently.
You have to be yourself and give your best
Those who tried to change their personality other than the way they were created never understood what they were doing. They are completely blind to the truth. To fulfill your God-given responsibility, you will first of all admire who you are and the way you are made.
Some persons want to change their status from the way God created them to suit themselves. They are ignorant of the fact that they did not create themselves. God created mankind and He knows the best for each individual. You are a male or female is to fulfill a course of responsibility; you are fair and dark is to fulfill a course of responsibility; you are tall or short is to fulfill a course of responsibility; you are slim and fat is to fulfill a course of responsibility; you are born into that family is to fulfill a course of responsibility which you are the only one who can do it perfectly well.
Conclusion
In every responsibility you pick up or is delegated to you, you are expected to give your best. Your best reveals your true identity.
