Is your responsibility to plan, when you fail to plan, you succeeded planning to fail. Everything accomplished in life is a product of a well-articulated planning. There is nothing beautiful which came into place accidentally; it was an act of proper planning. No matter how great your vision in life may be, if you fail to sit and plan how to accomplish that vision, you are going to be a failure.
Failure does not means you did something and fail; failure simply means lack of proper plan to achieve your responsibility. Is your responsibility to see that your vision, dreams and goal come to fulfillment, and that demands proper planning. Your responsibility demands essential planning. Great men and woman in the society value the concept of planning and they took the responsibility of planning as vital before embarking on any project.

“If I have 24 hours to get a task accomplish, I will spend the first 3 hours with God, the next 13 hours planning and 8 hours to get the task accomplished.”
“And the Lord answered me, and said, write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” (Habakkuk chapter 2 verses 2.)
Proper planning is so important before embarking on any responsibility; it does not only give you the right clue to get that responsibility accomplished, it as well brings the picture of the end product to your view before starting. If you want to be among the group of men who think ahead, you must first of all appreciate, cherish and cultivate the habit of planning.

Planning could often be burdensome . I am not disputing that fact. All I am saying is that, it pays to plan before embarking on any great responsibility, rather than half way into that responsibility before planning. The implication is this you may have mess up things before you realize. It is joyful to experience major challenges on a paper during planning, than experiencing them in the process. Jesus said in Luke chapter 14 verses 28,
“For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?”
I know I am quite creative, but taking time to plan sometimes is burdensome. I can suddenly move into a responsibility suddenly. I have come to find out it pains alot to embark on a responsibility without planning. You will get stuck on the way. It is necessary to deal with most of unnecessary stress that will emerge during a given responsibility in the process of planning. Now, I like to think about things long enough before admitting to go about theqm. I know it could be difficult to put ones thought on paper, some persons like to keep it in their mind. But you have to put your thought, visions, dreams, and goals on paper for proper analyzing, evaluating, and criticizing.
Conclusion
Planning is very vital in life. God must not have stepped out for creation without adequate planning. Every act of creation was perfectly planned by God Almighty. Every thing created has its specific day. We are created in the image after God’s likeness, we have to flow in the same order to be good planners. Every great project is first accomplished in the paper, in the place of planning. When you are able to plan right, you will achieve great.
