Your responsibility demands persistence
Because we are not of this world as diaspora and God trusted us so much that we should be part of the great movement He is doing in a time like this, our responsibility demands persistence. Of the course of our journey here, we are going to encounter many challenges that we make us to start having the nurture if we are equal to the task. Obviously we are equal to the task. We are more real than any challenges.
“In any given responsibility there is no room for an excuse, but there are rooms for results.”
“It is not about starting a responsibility that matters, it is getting it accomplished that matters.”
Persistence can be the order of the day
It is amazing to know you are equal to any task. Anywhere or place you find yourself, there is always a responsibility specifically for you. Never you shy or run away from any task. It is in your power to embrace any given responsibility and see you get it accomplished. Whatever responsibility that comes your way is a proof you have the power to accomplish it. Persistence can be the order of the day.
King Solomon said, “The spirit of man [that factor in human personality which proceeds immediately from God] is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts.”
You are equal to this task
As a worker and a leader in my local church, sometimes something will need an attention. I may be the one available at the moment and my pastor will ask me to get it fixed. Several times I have come back to him after working and trying to fix whatever it is , but couldn’t. I go back to him saying,
“Pastor.”
“Yes have you been able to handle it?” he asked, politely.
“I don’t think is something I can handle sir,” I said confidently.
“Buchi think you can.” He will leave me with the word, “Go and get it fixed.”
It is good to know that the man of God placed over you have such confidence in you. I have come to realize that it is the same confidence God has placed on every living soul. By the time I go back to that very task, amazingly it will get fixed. It was on this note that I came to the conclusion that, ‘In any given responsibility, there is no room for an excuse, but there are rooms for results.’ persistence is the key. There is something significant about you and your responsibility that demands persistence.
You have to keep going.
There is a significance about every individual when we persist with what we believe. Every God given responsibility demands persistence. God is a great God. Everything God created is great. Every creature created is great, wise and wonderful. You should expect your responsibility to tend towards a great achievement. The one that will announce how great you are, and how much God has deposited in you.
Every great responsibility demands great persistence. Any time I have an opportunity to embark on any task, I always try as much as I can to set my eyes on the end point. That has a way of keeping me on track even when every thing around is discouraging. It is not about taking or starting a task that matters, it’s about getting it done.
Conclusion
There is a situation on earth that brought our existence to get it fixed. It is not going to be easy, but let us keep moving. There are times when the going we get tough, it is not yet time to give up. Keep pressing on. It will surely end in praise.
