Your responsibility may demands period of praying and waiting

“Prayer is our responsibility to commune with God.”

“Prayer is one of the most lives changing commodities, yet quite underrated.”

Every breaking of the day is another great opportunity given to every living soul to accomplish his or her responsibility. It is never a wise idea to go about the responsibility of the day without first giving thanks to the giver of life. Never you be in a haste to jump up from your bed each morning going about the responsibility of the day without spending quality time to thank God, seek His face  to know His plan for your life for that very day.

Being convinced before making that move

Do not assume you know it all; don’t make that move if you are not convinced yet. One implication about that is, you may get yourself hurt in the process. One of the reasons we should learn to wait on God is because whatever we are called to do is never our responsibility for God, it is God’s responsibility for us. Paul said,

14 “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”  (Ephesians 3:14-20.)

Don’t make the move if you are not convinced yet.

It does not matter the level of education and skill you have acquired. It does not matter how buoyant you think you have all it takes to track the path of your responsibility.  Accomplishing certain responsibilities may demand some level of waiting on God. It is not about your decision in a time like this,it is about discovering what is the mind of God toward that very responsibility. David said,

4 “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” (Psalms 37:4-5.)

The fact remains we can’t accomplish it on our own accord without taking time hearing from God. We need the full involvement of God in going about our responsibilities. God get to lead the way and we get to follow His direction. When we step into a responsibility without God’s proper approval, you may rob Him to prove His miraculous power in your life. Don’t be deceived, you can’t accomplish anything relying on your own power. Waiting on God must be an attitude one must cultivate. It all starts with the daily devotion.

Conclusion

We did not create ourselves. God Almighty created us in His image after His likeness. God is our source and we get to make Him our sustainer so that we can seek His approval at any point in time to be able to navigate through life. Our assurance is hearing from God and follow His direction that will guarantee our destination.
