Your ideas matter
Honestly, ideas are nothing but detergents waiting to serve its purpose. They are thoughts as to a possible course of action.
Ah! It is like a light bulb comes on in your mind. “I got it, I think I know what to do.” It could be so faint that if you don’t grab it immediately, you might forget it. Frustrating right?
How does it come? How is it that it is only at a certain time or situation that it comes? That difficult situation or challenging task, suddenly, “this is what I will do!”
But how come? These inventions, experiments, theories etc how in the world did someone think up these things? How come this creative part of the brain play tricks with some but is quite dominant in others? Some get ideas only when they are in desperate need while some get it as often as I see my fingers.
How come this creative part of the brain play tricks with some but is quite dominant in others?
I believe God made man equal. He gave us this thinking faculty to be able to come up with ideas that will be beneficial to us. He gave us a very sound mind and an excellent spirit that no other specie has. He gave us the ability to improvise through thoughts and ideas.
“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (1John chapter 4 verses 4)
In the scripture we see that the spirit within us gives us the ability to get creative. We were made in the image of Christ and how did this happen? God got creative in making man. Have you ever looked at the ear and wondered? It is mind blowing. Not to give you a headache, observe your fingers and wonder too. We get to a point where we get that light bulb experience.
God got creative in making man
“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. (2Timothy chapter 1 verses 7 AMP)
An idea ultimately is as a result of the activity of the mind. God gave us the ability to be creative and where else does it come from? My guess is as good as yours or even better.
There has to be a need for an idea to be birthed. For instance, when creation ended, God saw it was good but there was something missing, then he said let’s make man in our own image. Then man came but he was lonely and he couldn’t relate with the animals. Then God said, let us make him a helpmate, suitable for him. So you see, there was a need, a very important one at that.
Why did I choose to write on this topic, it was as a result of several checks mentally and scribbles that hit scratched out before this one clicked. That idea God has given for a business or a particular situation, have you implemented it? If not, give it a try today. Over analysing spoils wonderful thoughts.
This mind is wonderful yet dangerous
The destruction of the city of Troy was as a result of an idea that materialised into the Trojan Hàout today. This mind is wonderful yet dangerous! Have you thought about the tower of Babel? We are awesome beings created in the image of God, that just one right click a beautiful creation is birthed.
Boardroom brainstorming, marketing strategies, wooing, proposals etc are just a few instances of how ideas come to life and thrive. God gave you a powerful ability to distinguish you from others. No one can think your thoughts or have the same idea as you. There must be a difference.
Conclusion:
If ideas come as a result of the mind’s activity, what do you feed your mind with? What is the content of your exposure. Look for need, then a solution will surface. It’s like a flood gate that once opened cannot be easily shut. Once you’ve cultivated these ideas, the rewards are handsome.
