Your faith will be tested
1 – “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 – And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 – They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 – But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 – While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 – And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 – Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 – And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 – But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 – And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 – Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 – But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13 – Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.” (Mathew chapter 25 verses 1 to 13)
Ten persons were called and put into the test of fulfilling destiny. Rather ten persons were given the opportunity and privilege to fulfill purpose. It is not just enough that one is called, there is more to each individual’s call that demands the driving force of faith to see one’s destiny to fulfillment. It is the individual’s responsibility to fan his or her faith to start producing. The fact that one’s faith is not producing does not mean he or she does not have faith.
There is need to understand that your faith is put test and you need to deliver.
“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” (Romans chapter 12 verses 3)
Any time you have an opportunity to handle any responsibility, know it that your faith is put to test at that very moment. In one way or the other at each breaking of the day, our faith is put to test. There is need to understand that your faith is put test and you need to deliver.
No one was ever mandated to fail but everyone was destined to succeed
Success in one’s test of faith is success in life. When you see people who encountered failure in the process to fulfilling destiny and succumbed to their failure, are those who failed the faith test. People who fail the faith test, are mostly those who became victims and defeated in life. The one who has passed the faith test will be significant.
The faith test is for everyone, but it is not everyone that passes the test. In the faith test, there is a column for those who will pass and there is a column for those who will fail. No one was ever mandated to fail but everyone was destined to succeed. It is the individual’s choice that will decide the column where he or she will fall into. No individual can stay in between the column. If an individual is not found in the column of success, he or she will be found in the column of failures.
Everyone needs to be careful because the it does not matter may be the matter at last.
From the scripture we read above, five of them were so responsible to know what they ought to do. I can tell you they who are wise were also talking to others to sit up but they never yielded to that because it never made sense to them. Every word of encouragement to stir up the right mental attitude in them, was all abortive. Everyone needs to be careful because the it does not matter may be the matter at last.
No one can live by another person faith. You can understand it better when the foolish virgins, were asking for oil for their lamp. The wise virgin refused to yield to their request. Do not forget that those who are down will always want to see those standing to be pulled down. This is the thought in the mind of the wise virgins when they turned down their foolish demand.
Conclusion
“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” (James chapter 2 verses 26)
Now you understand you have a faith test to pass, it is your responsibility to make every moment count. Failure in faith test can result to failure in life. Failure in faith test can crash one’s destiny.
