YOU WERE CHOSEN BY GOD
It should sink into your skull that you were chosen by God Almighty. If indeed you were chosen by God what a privilege! Among every other person that showed up as spermatozoa when your conception was taking place, you were the one who was chosen. Obviously, it was not that you are better than any else, but it was just your turn and God thought it right to put you in the league.
Who has chosen you? That is God almighty for you to be part of the life league. The league began when your conception took place. Millions of spermatozoa were on course to take up the slot. Many got to the ova before you arrived the finishing line. The journey through the uterus, through the fallopian tube to the ova was a competitive one. Many that arrived before yours never fused in because they were not chosen.
You are an answered prayer
Once the chosen one showed up, every other sperm gave up. They gave up because they had no choice but to do so. Just as it is rightly said, ‘two captains cannot be in a ship.’ You are the rightful one to take that place. You are the one to exercise that dominion. Stop asking questions when everyone is looking at you to provide solution. You were chosen from the onset of everything. You are an answered prayer.
“Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” (Jeremiah chapter one verses four and five. KJV)
You are a divine project of God
If you ever thought that nobody cares about you, actually someone cares about you. God Almighty cares about your wellbeing in every way possible. If God hadn’t known you before you were formed, He wouldn’t waste resources trying to create. Of what use will that be that God just created you to wile away time. You are a divine project of God and He will use you to do great and mighty things.
The message translation put it this way,
“Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you: A prophet to the nations—that’s what I had in mind for you.”
No one can think of what’s best for you than God. God knows everything about you. He has the blue print about all you are here to fulfil. Remember, He did not say He knew some things about you. He said He knew everything about you. The question is, ‘Do you know the God that said He knows you before you were shaped in the womb? How genuine is your walk with Him?
No one can think of your best than God
If you were sitting in front of the house, someone walks up to you and starts telling you things you never knew about yourself. From what he says some of those things match with some things already in place. What will be your response to the person disclosing such mysteries to you? I believe you will want to know this person.
If you can be this zealous to know who that person is, why then are you struggling to believe the one that knows your end from the beginning? Why are you this reluctant to know and observe a genuine walk with Him that shaped and knew you while you were in the womb? Why do you find it difficult to yield your life to the one who has holy plans for you?
Conclusion
You can see God has greatness in mind towards you. God is a great God and He does great things. He is on the mission to do great things with you.
