You are among the called
“These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.” (Revelation chapter 17 verses 14)
28 – “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 – For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 – Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” (Romans chapter 8 verses 28 to 30)
Some years back during a family prayer liberation, the man of God who we invited, during his ministrations pointed at me and said that I have a call of God, that I am going to be a minister of the gospel. One of my aunties who were present started rejoicing. I was calm and quiet without uttering a word. It was later in the day my aunt walked up to where we are seated and said,
“Man of God!” with a smile on her face.
“Everyone was called!” I responded, and continued. “Everyone has the call of God upon his or her life. It was the call of God upon man that brought man into scene.”
26 – “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 – So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 – And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 26 to 28)
You can bear with me that it was so important at such a juncture that God had to get the Trinity involved in the act of introducing man. It was a unique moment in the entire processes of creation that God had a pause for the announcement of the existence of an awesome being like mankind. Everyone was so special for the course of life that God never took the existence of anyone lightly.
Anyone who has the priviledge to be among the living, were actually called by God. It was the call of God upon an individual that preserved him or her all through the journey of nine months of development and delivery. This shows how important and relevant anyone is to the course God has created him or her to fulfill. Destiny brought everyone into course and it is an individual’s responsibility to live to fulfill destiny.
“So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called but few chosen.” (Matthew chapter 20: verses 16 KJV)
The Holy Scriptures made it very clear that many are called but few chosen. Every living soul was called by God Almighty. You are in for a specific course that will turn things around and bring complete liberation in your entire family. When it comes to our divine calling, everyone has been called by the Lord God Almighty Himself, including the rebellious.
“God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.” (Psalms chapter 68 verses 6)
The Holy Bible declares that when He ascended on High, He led captivity captive and gave Gifts to men. That is for everyone inclusive because life itself is an endownment.
“Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.” (Ephesians chapter 4 verses 8)
Amazingly, not everyone will be willing to lay down their will for the Master’s Will to prevail. However, it is sad to know that not everyone who has a Calling would end up fulfilling theirs because not everyone is willing to pay the price that goes along with it. Not everyone will be willing to present him or herself as a vessel of honour unto God. Quite alright it is God that called everyone, but He will not flow through everyone.
Apostle Paul told his Spiritual son and protégé Timothy to give himself wholly to his Calling in order that his profiting would appear to men. You must be willing to give your best for personal development so that you can be profitable for the kingdom purpose. This appears to everyone who is ready and desires to be an asset for the Master’s purpose.
“Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.” (1Timothy chapter 4 verses 15)
Conclusion:
There is a price for the Divine Calling upon everyone. It is in individual power and responsibility to make full prove of his or her Calling. Do not be deceived, it is how everyone goes about his or her Calling will determine whether his or she will be chosen. You have to value your Call
