WHEN LEADERSHIP CRUMBLED

When leadership crumbled

Leadership is very vital to the human race. It is to introduce order and enforce order. Life without leadership is nothing but chaos. Man was given the power of leadership over everything created. God knew man has the capacity to lead effectively and that is why he was given the opportunity. Man has the authentic power of leadership over the planet earth. It was a great privilege for man to be worthy to occupy the place of leadership.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 26)

It was a call for leadership. And I will boldly say according to this very verse of the scripture that everyone has the ability to lead. Everyone was called to lead. It is quite understandable that everyone will not occupy a particular position at the same, but everyone has a place where he or she was made to exercise leadership and exercise it effectively. Everyone has his or her place of strength.

It was a great privilege for man to be worthy to occupy the place of leadership.

Just as some sensistive part of the body, the eyes bear the leadership responsibility to solve the problem of seeing. The ears bear the leadership responsibility to solve the problem of hearing. The nose bears the leadership responsibility to solve the problem of smell. The mouth bears the leadership responsibility to solve the problem of speaking and eating. The hands bear the leadership responsibility to solve the problem of reaching out and holding. The feet bear the leadership responsibility to solve the problem of walking, running and kicking. The brain bears the leadership responsibility to solve the problem of thinking. The mind bears the leadership responsibility to solve the problem of reasoning.

When any of these parts fails to discharge its leadership ability, it has a way to crumble the effectiveness of the entire body. You can imagine if the brain fails in the place of thinking, what did you think that will happen to the entire body? You see, your reluctance to taking up your place of leadership and exercise effectively can crumble things. Leadership of the entire body needs each other.

Everyone was called to lead

[14] For the body is not one member, but many.

[15] If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

[16] And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

[17] If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

[18] But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.” (1 Corinthians chapter 12 verses 14 to 18 KJV)

Leadership crumbles when we crumble in our place of responsibility.

Everyone is relevant on the course to discharge leadership. No one was ever created special than others. No one was created differently than others. It is the same God Almighty that created everyone and He deposited the leadership ability into everyone. There is a place for you in this call of leadership. It is absurd for one to say that he or she does not have a place here. Things might be going wrong because he failed his your own place of leadership.

Leadership crumbles when we crumble in our place of responsibility. It is lack of taking responsibility that crumbles leadership. Running away from responsibility crumbles leadership. That can cause more harm than good. When leadership crumbles, it proves how insignificant one can be. Leadership is not about some persons playing their part, it is about everyone playing his or her part effectively.

Conclusion

When everyone is able to play their role effectively, it makes leadership successful. There is no successful leadership when people fail in their place of leadership.
