What you started has a completion
“The commencement of any responsibility is not as beautiful as its completion.”
I remember running a professional program with the founder of geology and mining Enugu State University of Science and Technology, late professor Nwabufo Ene. It was few students that enrolled for the program. We all started it well and finished up the whole course. He planed for a makeup class before the main exam.
Due to one reason or the other I was unable to meet up with the makeup class. That eluded me from writing the exam. It wasn’t long, he fell sick and he never recovered from it. It grieved my heart I did not obtained that particular certificate. It was a program linked with a foreign university. I started well but I was unable to obtain that which would have given a proof that I ended well. That program was a responsibility I obtained, but I did not finish strong. The commencement of any responsibility is not as beautiful as its completion.
It is in your power to finish what you start.
You have all it takes to start and complete your responsibility. It does not matter how good you are,it is how well you complete your responsibility that matters. Let’s live with the consciousness that we live for a responsibility, and It is in our power to live to accomplish that. It is in your power to finish what you start.
If you can start it, you also have what it takes to accomplish it. Do not waste the effort to start without thinking on how to complete it. Everything that has a beginning has an end. Any thing start also has a finishing ending. It is not about starting it, it is about getting it into completion. Whatever responsibility you pick up, bear in mind you have what it takes to accomplish it and it is your responsibility to accomplish it.
You have all it takes to start and complete your responsibility.
Jesus saith unto them, “My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” (John4:34)
It is obvious you may be knowledgeable, talented, skillful and wise; that will make no meaning to this generation if you are unable to accomplish your God-given responsibility. You are as good as what you are able to complete, not what you started. Nobody cares to know how knowledgeable, talented or skillful you are if you are unable to impact this generation. There is a reason behind your existence; it is your responsibility to discover that and live to accomplished it. It does not matter how good you are, what matters is how well you complete the responsibility given to you.
It does not matter what you are able to start, what you are able to finish announces you. You will be admired at the beginning of any task, but will be cherished at the completion of it. Let’s live with the consciousness that we are created by purpose for responsibility; and it’s in our power to live to accomplish that. There is nothing as irritating as getting a task half done. Get it completed!
What you are able to finish announces you.
Whatever you are able to start is a prove and the grace to complete it is available. The fact remains that, you have all it takes to complete that which you have started through Chris Jesus. When God stepped out for creation, is for a purpose; behind that purpose lies a responsibility. That is to create a kingdom for mankind. Everything created started in a day and was brought to completion on the six day. It will interest you to know that it was the same breath in God when creation began and completed that he breathed into man.
“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7.
Conclusion
What a wasted effort to start what you will not ne able to finish. For the fact you started it, is a proof you have what it takes to get it done. Keep pressing on to the finishing end.
