Understanding you have the spirit of leadership
Every individual needs to understand his or her position in God’s placement. Until we understand who we are and what we are made of, we will not lead right. We have a place in God’s placement of leadership. We are not called to just occupy a leadership position, there is more that everyone of us needs to get acquainted with to enable us not to assume a position of leadership without diligently discharging duty.
Man in three dimensions states that man is a spirit that has a soul and lives in the body. If man is truly a spirit being, we should understand there is everything significant with the spirit man. Man is not first a body, you get to understand that and it will enable you not to always depend on your five senses. Leadership is not just about deploying your senses, it is about understanding who you are and your place in leadership.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 26)
Let us have a critical look at the verse of the book to be able the drive out the mystery behind it. By the time God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: Who is man? Man is a spirit. That is the true definition of man in the spirit realm. If man is a spirit, that means he is a god because he was made in the image and likeness of God. There is nothing less about man.
God did not withhold anything creating man. God actually created a leader in His image after His likeness that man will function like Him. Everything about man is leadership. No one can take that from man. Man was created to be in charge and that calls for leadership. We get to understand that the human spirit has everything to exercise leadership efficiently and effectively.

27 – “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 – And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 27 to 29)
You can see that God blessed the spirit man and commanded him to be fruitful in leadership, multiply the earth, replenish the earth and subdue the earth. This is why leadership is not to be led in the fresh. Whenever you find yourself in any leadership position, always think God’s way. How would God lead if He was the One on board to lead? What will be done to reveal an effective leadership?
We need to get something clear here as we ponder through the spirit of leadership. The bible said that God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; Male and female created He them. (Genesis chapter 1 verses 27)
God never thought less about mankind and mankind should not think less about himself
When God said He wanted to create man in His image after His likeness, the bible made us understand that God went on with that very plan without thinking less about man. God made man perfect for the responsibility he was to carry on. God never thought less about mankind and mankind should not think less about himself. In other word, it is abnormal for anyone to be thinking he or she was never created to lead.
God did not only create man in His image and likeness, He went ahead to bless him. That bestowed on man the power to succeed in leadership and other aspects of life. The blessing of God upon man was the enabler for man to always exercise authority and dominion over every other creature. Because of the blessing, man was fully in charge and had the audacity to perform effectively without any form of malfunctioning.

6 – But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7 – And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis chapter 2 verses 6 to 7)
When God formed the physical man, He breathed the spirit of leadership into the physical man and from that very moment God transferred the leadership ability and responsibility to man. Man became in charged of the full leadership on earth. God so believed that man was capable of earthly leadership because all that needed for that have been deposited in him. Man has every reason to do exploit in his leadership.
Conclusion:
The spirit of leadership was bestowed on you so that you can live to discharge effective and efficient leadership that will reveal God’s glory all over. The spirit of leadership breathed in you is not about you is all about revealing God’s glory.
