Understanding Christianity
Christianity is a call for one becoming like Christ. Christianity is a call to reflect Christ. Christianity is a attitude to live right. Christianity is a conviction to live and act like Christ. Christianity is never a call for laziness; christianity is a call for hardworking, competent and diligent. Christianity is call to be hardworking till one fulfill his or her course.
“And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” (Mathew chapter 4 verses 19)
Christianity is never a curse to humanity, christianity is a blessing to humanity. Christianity is a true channel for cultivating and moulding godly character. Christianity is never a function of doctrine, christianity is a function of relationship with God. Becoming an authentic Christian will first cost one to profit him or her. Christianity is a life style with better and lasting rewards.
You do not better by getting older, you become better by pursuing your destiny. If you want an inheritance in the kingdom, you must become a son. To become a son, God must chasten you. Christianity is a call. Remember we are created by purpose for responsibility.
“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:” (Ephesians chapter 1 verses 4)
When you are train by God to become an authentic member of the kingdom, you must face chastening. There are processes to become a genuine Christian. God must pass you through processes. There are character traits one needs to stir up to be able to meet the vessel which the Master can used.
5 – “And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6 – For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 – If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 – But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.” (Hebrews chapter 12 verses 5 to 8)
We are made gods. As gods we are to operate in the same level as God. We are made the god of the earth to reflect the glory of God. We are made and created in God’s image.
“I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” (Psalms chapter 82 verses 6)
Nobody has what it takes to talk you out of God’s love. Christianity is a prove of God’s love to humanity. Christianity is a complete prove of man’s redemption. We are now one with God through Christ Jesus. It does not matter what people are saying, it is your decision to become like Chrisy that matters.
1 – “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 – Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 – And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” (1John chapter 3 verses 1 to 3)
Conclusion:
14 – “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 – Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 – That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 – That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,” (Ephesians chapter 3 verses 14 to 17)
God has a family in heaven and God also has a family on earth. God’s family on earth is the church. The church is the body of Christ.
