The two kinds of workers
No one can be hot and cool at the same time
In the kingdom and in every phase of life, there are two kinds of workers. No one will stay at the fence of it. Everyone who has secured a work to be a worker will either fall in one of these groups. No one can be hot and cool at the same time. No one can be good and bad at the same time. No one can be wise and foolish at the same time. Everyone will be at a phase at a particular point in time.
There is need to understand that everyone was created to be a worker. No one was ever created to be idol. You have a place in the responsibility of the kingdom. We were all created for this very course that we will live for a responsibility. We are workers by birth. It is our work to be workers in God’s vine yard. God so much trusted us to grant everyone such an awesome priviledge.
People do not know what it means when they choose to shy away from the responsibility of the kingdom
For God to qualify us for such an opportunity to be a worker in His vineyard is a call of great honour. To be part of the workers that God can actually trust His works to their hands is of a great honour. We cannot live to take that for granted. We can’t live to pretend as though we are the one doing God a priviledge when He chose us to be workers in His vineyard when we did not qualify for it.
We did not deserved it when God shew forth His amazing and unfailing love while we were yet wondering about without any bearing. God’s mercy was great to be able to grant us such an enviable place. People do not know what it means when they choose to shy away from the responsibility of the kingdom. Whether you are active worker or inactive worker, there is a place of responsibility for you in the kingdom.
The effectiveness of your work will distinguish you from others who are ineffective
People do know how much grace that was made to be activated upon their lives when they decided to run away from the God given responsibility. When God calls someone to be a worker in the vineyard, He does it based on the plan He has for an individual. God has proposed something great and mighty concerning each individual. One of the vital and necessary ways to stir up and trigger one into God’s plan for his or her life is to be a worker.
It is not just to be a worker that distinguishes an individual. It is in becoming an effective workers that distinguishes an individual. The effectiveness of your work will distinguish you from others who are ineffective. It is an individual’s responsibility to be effective. It is an individual’s capacity and choice to be a wise worker. There is a willpower in the everyone to make the right choice.
You can tell if you are actually effective or ineffective
1 – “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 – And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 – They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 – But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 – While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 – And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 – Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 – And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 – But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 – And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 – Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 – But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.” (Mathew chapter 25 verses 1 to 12)
When a worker is effective and efficient he or she is attributed as a wise worker. When a worker is ineffective and inefficient he or she is attributed as foolish worker. You are in the right position to give yourself the score of your work scheme. Yes, you can actually score yourself to know where where you belong to. You can tell if you are actually effective or ineffective.
Conclusion:
There is a day of accountability. It does not matter whether you believe you are a worker or not, you will surely account for your time here on earth. My prayer is that we will be found worthy and effective to the work we are called to do.
