The second mystery of human life
The second mystery of human life and race is man. We need to understand that it was God that created the both spirit man and the physical man. While God created the spirit man in His image after His likeness so that man can be the god of the earth to exercise full authority and dominion over everything created.
26 – “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 – So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 26 to 27)
The physical man can house the spirit man made in the image and likeness of God.
The physical man was made to be a house to the spirit man. Is was designed that it will take the physical man for the spirit man to function effectively here on earth. Just as the hand glove is designed and made in the image of the hand to house and protect the hand for an effective functionality; so is the physical man made by God Almighty Himself as it pleases Him so that the physical man can house the spirit man made in the image and likeness of God.
6 – “But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7 – And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis chapter 2 verses 6 to 7)
Man as a vessel
We should understand that God could not just create the spirit man and spend such valuable commodities forming the physical man. God did all these because He had plans for man and his kingdom earth. To understand man in full, we get to understand man in three dimensions.
Man in three dimensions state that man is a spirit, that has a soul and lives in a body. Man as a vessel has the spirit part which is the innermost part, it also has a soul which is the inner part, it is in a body which is the outer part, the container that house both the spirit man and the soul.
21 – “Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
22 – What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
23 – And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,” (Romans chapter 9 verses 21 to 23)
MAN IN THREE DIMENTIONS
“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1Thessalonians chapter 5 verses 23)
- The body: This is the physical part of man that can see and touch. The body consists of flesh, blood, bone, and sinews. It contacts, receives and relates with the earth and the things of the physical realm.
“Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.” (Job chapter 10 verses 11)
- The soul: This is the mental faculty of man and it consists of his intellect, his emotions and his reasoning faculties. It is not physical. It cannot be seen or touch but can be felt. It contacts and receives the things of the psychological realm.
- The spirit man: This is the human spirit. It is the innermost part of man. This is the part of man that is able to contact God and can know God. It is where the nature of man dwells. With the spirit man interacts with the spiritual realm.
“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” (John chapter 4 verses 24)
The second mystery of the human life and race is understanding the fullness of man. It is in this knowledge you will understand that man is more than food in his stomach, man is more than the knowledge he has acquired, but that man contain God in his spirit.
“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;” (Ephesians chapter 5 verses 18)
Conclusion
For man to contain God in his spirit have placed him above everything here on earth. This is the reason he was put in charged and cannot demoted as long as he has a genuine walk with God and live under divine alignment with God.
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” (John chapter 1 verses 12)
