The responsibility of the youth
“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;” (Ecclesiastes chapter 12 verses 1)
Having a genuine walk with God
If there is anyone every young person will want to listen to, it is the wisest man who ever lived king Solomon. In his admonition in the book of Ecclasiatic, he said to the young people to remember their Creator in the days when they are young. This is the prime time of anyone to make haste while the sun shines to have a cordial relationship with his Maker. It is so vital that he took it upon himself to advise the young people about their walk with God.
God is a God of responsibility
What does the writer saying about the Creator? What does he expect the young people to know about the Creator? If God is indeed the Creator, that means He is a God of responsibility. Always have God in mind
Remember your Creator in this days of your youth, means you should always have God in mind. That whatever a young person intends to do, he or she should think about God first. That is, everything about the young people, they should put God first. In all that the young people think, say or do they should be with the thought to please God in it. Nothing about the young persons should be done out of God.
Build a solid foundation
Remember your Creator in the days of the youth, means every young person need to lay a solid foundation that will sustain him or her in this life time. The only foundation that guarantees safety is in God Almighty. Every other foundation out of God is sinking. God must be first, if God is not first, He cannot be second. There is need for every young person to get to know God deeper and deeper for him or herself.
Remember your Creator in the days of the youth is to understand there is no true purpose discovery out of God. It is obvious that we are created in God’s image after His likeness that we should be a true representative of God Almighty. God longs for people He can use to reveal His glory all over the earth. God is keen about His glory in everything.
“For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” (Hebrews chapter 2 verses 14)
Make good use of any given opportunity

Being young is a phase in one’s life that he or she should deliberately make every moment count for a better and greater future. Nothing lasts forever. The phase of the youthful person will fade away as the days go by. The opportunity that anyone should never play or joke with is the days when he or she is still young.
Taking the necessary correction
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth simply means that every young person should remember their Creator now which is the season for errors and corrections. If there is no better time for anyone to make amendment in life than the days when he or she is still young. There is always a better chance in the days of the youth for anyone who desires to turn out right. In the days of the youth there is much hope to make amendment and get it right, and live the rest of his or her life in pleasures.

The strength that every young person is exerting now he or she is living will never be so all the days of his or her life. As each day goes by, strength is being exerted and no one is growing younger. Each day we live we grow older. If one fails now to make good use of his or she strength, he or she may live to cry had I known. Had I known is the end cry of anyone who missed out in making good use of any given opportunity.
The days ahead is evil
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth because the days ahead is evil. Many terrible things will happen in the days ahead that it takes those who have a solid genuine relationship with God Almighty to survive and navigate through. It is going to be tough in the days ahead that those who did not make good used of any given opportunity might cry bitterly. It is always wise to have God by your side when the challenges of life will show up. Jesus said that with God Almighty all things are possible.
“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” (Mathew chapter 19 verses 26)
