The price of sex
We have established the fact that it is God Almighty that created sex and gave it to humanity for a divine purpose. Sex is sacred that everyone has to handle it with so much caution. Every thing that God created and said it is good, means that if this is obviously within the boundary of God’s order, it comes with tremendous blessing that can marvel one’s imagination. Every good gift from God has tremendous fulfilment in it.
It is becoming like the gift of God has two faces, the face of blessings and a face of repercussions. That is never true anyway. God cannot associate Himself with evil. Evil only steps in when there is violation against God’s boundary. Anyone who breaks the boundary is inviting a snake bite. It is out of God’s pleasure that He made such an awesome gift available to mankind.
It is out of God’s pleasure He introduced sex in the human race
The price of sex in its very beginning is that it took God Almighty every thing to bring it in. You may not understand how peculiar this channel of sex in the whole human race, but without it man cannot reproduce his kind for the multiplication of the earth. There is a great purpose in the human race that sex was designed to be the gate way. Sex is good in ramifications. What would have human race be like without it?
We need to understand that sex is a powerful gift. Oh yes, it is powerful. It is a gift designed to bring intimacy between the male husband and the female wife. You need to understand that God never made it for the male man and the male man. No matter how they try to justify their action, it is a crime against God and God’s principles. The same sex sex griefs God because it is wasting of seed. Do not be deceived about that.
Do not commit your soul to a person you might regret to associate with
Sex is a powerful tool for creating and keep connection between male husband and female wife. Oh yes, there is something about sex that when male husband and female wife had an issues and after settlement must have taken place, there is need to get back the relationship sealed as though there was no dispute in the first place. After the male husband and the female wife agreed to let go the past, at that very moment there is this urge from both parties to get the whole sealed and that is the function of sex.
That is why whoever you sleep with, you are committed to the person. There is part of you that is connected with this person that even when you decide never to have any thing to do with this very person, there is this magnetic force that pulls two of you together. That is the connection sex can bring. It does not matter who undergo the act of sex before the right time. Many are into one connection or the other that they struggle to understand what is going on within them, but they never can figure out.
Sex is one of the true connector between male husband and female wife
There is this connection whenever male husband and female wife get together into sex. Stop sleeping around with anyone who is not your husband and wife according to God’s standard. Sex is a respecter of no one, if one awaken it before time, he or she should be ready to face whatever the repercusion may be. Never you start a war that you are aware it will leave you handicapped. Yes sex out of it’s original context can cripple.
One of the prices of sex for those who are still single, is that find within your power to completely abstain from sexual sin. In most cases, the repercussions is always huge than the single act of it. You need to understand that sex is deep, deeper than one can think. The regret of abstaining from sexual sin is always less than the regret of after indulging into sexual sin. No one can afford to continue to live as though it does not matter.
Sex was never designed to be exercised out of its boundary
Sex practiced outside God’s boundary has a way of bringing in rebel between both parties, instead of connecting them together. There are people who have walked together for years but a night of sex blows away the likeness he has towards her. What happened? They just slept together. They just did what anyone else can do. What got the whole relationship sour? The answer is simple, they closed the boundary they shouldn’t have crossed.
One of the price of sex is that it can destroy a relationship when you think it is the true bond to it. Sex is the gift between male husband and female wife, and it is a bond of covenant. If two parties who are not in covenant of marriage engage in it, it will cause more harm than good. Many relationship that is established by sex before marriage has a way of breaking off when it wasn’t expected. The price of sex is that no one should engage in it before the right time.
Sex out of its boundary could be disastrous
Never you break a law that established a particular truth. Life is governed by principles. We are designed to obey principles as the key to triumph in life. Any principle one breaks leave him or her a victim. There is always a repercussion for breaking a law. One will be punished for that. Don’t be deceived by what the internet and social media is painting to look as though it is your life and you have the right to do whatever you want with it. That is not true. It is not your life because you never created yourself. That is why the Book of Romans chapter twelve verses 1 one and two said,
1 – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 – And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
In conclusion:
Sex is a special gift from God to humanity, but it comes with a price. Sex comes with so much blessing in exercise under the boundaries God created it. Sex brings joy, peace, unity and fulfillment that is the package it comes with when observed its sacred. But when it is misused just like many young people, it brings pain, regret and unfulfilment. The wisest man ever lived King Solomon warned in the book of Ecclasiatic chapter 10 verses 8,
“He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.”
