The living church of the Living God
The believer needs to understand that he or she is the living church of the Living God. The living church of the Living God has every attributes of a living thing which proves it’s alive. It is never a church of a mare building which is constructed by man. It is never a church that experienced deformation. This is a church that experienced perfection during creation because it was designed and fashioned to be the living house of the Living God. The church made by the Living God has no other obligation than to be a living church. Everything that God made has the trace of living and fulfilling purpose.
“But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.” (1Timothy chapter 3 verses 15)
You are a living temple
It should be dawn on any believer that when we are talking about being a living church of the Living God, there are those who claimed to be a living church of the Living God who are not. There is never any trace of conviction that shows that these ones are a living church of the Living God. There is always a cordial proof of anything that God has handle. Every thing that God made is beautiful because He is a beautiful God. There is a knowing in the heart of any one who genuinely has a cordial relationship with our Lord and master Jesus Christ that he or she is a living church of the Living God. The genuine transformation that occurred when one had received Christ, is the transformation of becoming a living church to the Living God. There is an inner witness that we are living church to our God.
“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:” (Romans chapter 8 verses 16)
To be a living church of the Living God is a choice
The fact remains that as we ponder on the believer’s as a living church of the Living God, there are death church which are of no used to the Living God. Anyone who is not living the true purpose of which he or she was created, will be attributed as a death church. There are those in life who believed they were created for nothing significant. I don’t really have so much issue with such people because I know they have knowledge problem of being convinced that God actually created them to handled and fulfill a specific course. They need to come to the knowledge of God’s Word to be able to discover who they are in God through Christ Jesus.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” (Hosea chapter 4 verses 6)
There is always a proof to anyone who has encountered God
The greatest tragedy in the christendom are those who claimed to must have encountered the Living God, yet there is never an evidence to show that they have encountered the Living God which have eluded them to live and act as the living church of the Living God. The proof that one must have encountered God is to become a true representative of the living church of God to reflect His glory. No one can stands on the fence. It is either you are on the side of the Living God being a living church to Him to the dieing world or you are not. No one can genuinely have an encounter with the Living God who will not live to become a living church of the Living God. Any personal salvation which does not have the right end for one completely living for God should be questioned.
Anyone who claimed to be a living church to the Living God whose life does not show or provides an evidence for being a living church, he or she is agent of something else. Those on the Lord’s side always show forth a proof that they are living churches of the Living God. Those who are not on the Lord side, are death churches in the house of God. Of course, when we talk about death church, it is a prove that such person has not fully yielded to the lead of the Holy Spirit. We will dig deep about the death church in the house of God in one of the episode.
Being a living church of the Living God is never something one should claim, it is an attitude one should daily display. Being a living church of the Living God is a life style. If it is truly a life style that simply means it calls for a price. No one can continue to be a death church among the gathering of genuine believers and still claim to be a living church of the Living God. Such person will soon not endures the fire that erupt from other believers.
Being a living church of the Living God calls for a price
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis chapter 2 verses 7)
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground,” That is the church that would carry God, but that very moment it was not living. I want to draw our mind back to the origin to enable us understand what it means for someone not to be a living church of the Living God. Man at first was not a living church and God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul. You can see that man became a living church because of the Spirit of the Living God that was breathed and dwells in him.
You are to reflect God’s glory
The living church of the living God cannot be stagnated. The evidence that anyone is a living church is that he or she will live to reflect the glory of God. You are a mobile altar and temple of the living God. Every where and any where you go, you carry God there and God will always glorify Himself and His Name. When a believer fails in the place of exhibiting him or herself as a living church, that gets God handicapped to what He has proposed and plans to do.
One of the greatest tragedies in the kingdom is when one fails to exhibit his or her potential for the Lord God Almighty by displaying his or her living virtues. Every living church is meant to give life to every church that seem to be death. No matter the state anyone who comes in contact with a believer, that person should receive life. He or she should be rekindled for meeting a believer. The living church of the living God has the potential to do so much exploit and brings transformation in the lives of the people.
In conclusion:
No genuine believer can carry the Spirit of the Living God and still not become a living church of the Living God. There is a quickening and inner strength to live as a living church of God when one encountered God. You can’t continue to live your life the way you want with the motives that God will understand. Every understanding in the kingdom is for everyone who is name the Name of the Lord depart from iniquity and become a living church of the Living God.
“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” (Romans chapter 8 verses 11)
