Satan wants you out of God’s presence
The ultimate goal of satan is to get you out of God’s presence. Do not forget that satan was one of the arch angels before he rebelled against God and he was cast out. The greatest desire of the devil is to elude you from accessing God. He wants to make sure there is a demarcation between God and man. This is a serious matter in the race of humanity. The devil is evil and he is the source of evil. The originator of all lies.
Remember he once tasted the presence of God and he understood what the presence of God can do in the life of anyone who believes and has a genuine relationship and walks with God Almighty. The presence of God is the revealing of God’s fullness. There is nothing in the spirit realms and the physical realm as the presence. This is the secret behind the cry of Moses when he says in the book of Exodus chapter 33 verses 15
“And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.”
God’s presence means everything to a man
God’s presence should mean everything to you. Man is nothing without the presence of God. You are nothing without God’s presence. Man is everything in God’s presence. Do not forget that man was made to exercise full dominion on earth and as long as man has a cordial relationship with God, he will constantly carry the presence of God that will enable him to exercise full dominion on the earth.
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and the cattle, and all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” (Genesis chapter verses 26 KJV)
No one can successfully exercise full dominion on the earth who is not a carrier of God’s presence. Anything that matters in the race of humanity is carrying the presence of God. There is full authority in carrying the presence of God.
“And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” (Exodus chapter 33 verse 14 KJV)
Satan stole man out of God’s presence
1 – Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 – And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 – But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 – And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 – For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 – And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat.
7 – And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
8 – And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
9 – And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 – And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 – And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
Satan’s goal was to cause man to disobey God so that the devil could steal man out of God’s presence. Suddenly Adam and Eve began to hide themselves from the presence of God. What a misnomer!
Conclusion
You can see man suddenly became afraid and separated himself from his true source LORD God Almighty. You need the presence of God as a diaspora here on earth if you will make any significant difference.
