Ruling from the altar
The battle of life is the battle of altars. The battle of successful marriage is the battle of altar. The battle of business is the battle of altar. The battle of destiny fulfillment is the battle of altar. If one must conquer in life, he or she must have an altar that will be speaking for him or her. It is an individual’s responsibility to have a burning that is providing shield to him or her.
9 – “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 – And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” (Revelation chapter 5 verses 9 to 10)
How to function as a priest unto God, one must have an altar. An altar is the landing place for God. Dr David Ogbueli said, “If God is your Source, you better make Him your Sustainer.” You can’t talk about God being your Source and you not having a landing place for God. It is never optional for any believer to walk through the path of destiny fulfillment without having an altar. That will be a disastrous journey.
When you think about an altar, you think about a priest. There is never a priest without an altar. This is paramount even in both kingdoms. You must have a place of strength. There should be a place where you drew your strength from and that is your altar. You need to fully get God involved in the affairs of life. You can get God from your secret place which is your altar.
Destiny and life are controlled by altar. In every temple there is always an altar. Remember every living soul is a temple of God. Anyone who missed it from the place of altar may not live a significant Christian life. There is no successful Christian living without an altar. A Christian is as powerful as his or her altar. A powerless Christian is a proof of his or her altar.
What is an altar? An altar is a gate way into the spiritual world.
Let us critically look at the definition above. If altar is a gate way into the spiritual world, that means there are more about the subject of altar that one needs to be acquitted with if he or she ever desires to rule his or her world. It is obvious that the spiritual controls the physical. Once one fails in accessing the spiritual, he or she cannot take full control of the physical. Since altar is the gate way to the spiritual, every believers should pay more attention to his or her altar.
Altar is a place of fellowship with the deity. Every christian is a living altar and also a mobile altar. An altar is a place of worship and prayer. An altar is a place of sacrifice. Any believer can effectively communicate with God from an altar. The success of living is having a burning altar. A burning altar produces a burning Christian. You rule your world as long as your altar is burning. Nothing can elude any believer whose altar is burning.
5 – “Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 – To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
7 – In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;” (Ephesians chapter 1 verses 5 to 7)
An altar is a place of covenant. Yes, there are vows which might not have evidence until it comes from the place of altar. Marriage is a covenant between a man and a woman. And they do cut such covenant from the altar of God Almighty. That is what makes such union authentic. Covenant is what gives every marriage hope and brings both parties in control because of their exchange of vow.

2 – I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 – Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 – He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 – Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 – Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

9 – Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;” (Psalms chapter 91 verses 1 to 9)
Altar is a place to draw strength, it is a place of atonement and judgement. An altar can be defiled. Your altar defends you. You are as strong as your altar. Your heart is your altar if you are a child of God, for the Holy Spirit dwells in you.
What determines how strong an altar is, is the level of sacrifices made on it. The measure of what you place on the altar will determine what the altar will give to you.
