Responsibility is designed to fix you
Any responsibility you decide to run with will first break you before it will fix you. That is what is known as adjustment. When you secure a job in a big company, they will not grant you access to your place of responsibility without giving you the necessary training that is needed of you. No matter your qualifications, you must lay that aside to fully embrace the necessary training that will enable you to discharge your duty effectively.
In the course of undergoing such training, some do break down as a result that their system is not used to such training. It is after the breakdown, as the training continues that their body system will start to adjust fully to the system and that will enable them to work effectively and efficiently. Why the training is so important is to lay aside the heavy weight that will be a stumbling block in the later days.
“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,” (Hebrews chapter 12 verses 1 KJV)
How to get yourself fixed for your responsibility
- You must accept you are created for such responsibility
“Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” (John chapter 4 verses 34 KJV)
- You must accept to give yourself fully to training.
“Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.” (Psalms chapter 86 verses 11 KJV)
- You must endure whatever training it will take you to be fit for your responsibility.
“Though he slays me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.” (Job chapter 13 verses 15 KJV)
- You must accept to endure till the end
“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” (Mathew chapter 24 verses 13 KJV)
- You must give your best
“But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I should be a castaway.” (1 Corinthians chapter 9 verses 27 KJV)
It is in your power to bring your body under subjection
If you start working on your body to keep fit, it first breaks you down and then fixes you up as you continue your normal exercise. That is the responsibility of exercising the body you have submitted yourself to. It is in your power to bring your body under subjection. The Bible recommends that you should exercise your body. According to First Timothy, chapter 4 verse 8 says,
“For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.”
If you train your body system to be able to fully carry your responsibility, your responsibility will wear you down. You have to fix into the plans that God has for you. You have to constantly check if you are capable of carrying your responsibility till the end.
You should understand that your body is a vessel. Your body cannot carry you more than you have made it fit. Take good care of your body. Always get it well prepared for your responsibility. Don’t wait till that responsibility shows up before you start working on your vessel. You have to prepare ahead of time, If not a responsibility that can lead to multiple opportunities can take you unawares. Always get prepared before the day that responsibility will show up.
Conclusion
The man was made to be a responsible being by embracing responsibilities. Responsibility was introduced never to wear man down, it was introduced to build and stir out the potential in an individual. Stop running away from any given responsibility you can handle. There lies the key to becoming a better you.
