Many are called
No one should take such priviledge for granted
“For many are called, but few are chosen.” (Mathew chapter 22 verses 14)
When we come to the knowledge that we exist for a course, we should understand that the breath that we breath is not ours but of God. Everything about humanity is based on priviledge. We never bargained for it but God found us worthy to be granted such an awesome priviledge to be able to be among those He will reveal His glory through. No one should take such priviledge for granted.
Each individual’s existence means alot to God’s plan concerning the human race
Everyone is called that is the fact we have to establish on this episode. You have a call of God upon your life. There is something significant about your existence and there is something unique about the responsibility you are created to carry out for the beauty of the earth and to the glory of the Lord God Almighty. Each individual’s existence means alot to God’s plan concerning the human race.
I have seen people who never believed the fact that they have a call of God upon their life. Whenever they hear people say you have a call, they react differently in a way of rejecting it. But that is never the point, the point here is that everyone who ever existed and those living have a call of God upon their. There were called into the scene for a specific purpose and responsibility. If you were not important, you wouldn’t have made it.
God actually deposited His blessings upon mankind for the responsibility he was created to fulfill
26 – “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 – So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 – And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 26 to 28)
The very scripture above is the prove that there is a call upon individual’s life. You were so relevant to be part of God’s agenda in a time like this. Though we never aspired for it but God made us worthy for the task. God actually deposited His blessings upon mankind for the responsibility he was created to fulfill. The blessing of God upon a man is never in vain. It is for a purpose because God is never a waster.
No matter how we were all chosen, we all have the opportunity and priviledge to prove our qualification
Let us quickly look at the course at which this very episode is anchored on, that many are called but few are chosen. The question is, why would many be called and why will few be chosen? You can see that many were given an opportunity but it was only few who realised that it was an opportunity they have to utilize very well without any trace of sentiment attached to it. Many were called, and many were expected to be chosen. But it was unfortunate that it was only few that were chosen.
Our concern will be, why will few be chosen while many had the opportunity to be chosen! For many to be called is a prove that many was qualified in the first place to take up whatever responsibility that was on ground. But it was few who went ahead to prove that they were really qualified for such responsibility. No matter how we were all chosen, we all have the opportunity and priviledge to prove our qualification.
You can’t be qualified if you are not a person of responsibility
If one fail to prove he or she is qualified, he or she will not be chosen. When man prove your qualified because he is in the position to do so, some day he will not be there and you are the one who will live to prove you are qualified. If you fail to prove you are qualified, you will receive a sack notice. It is in individual’s responsibility to strive as much as he or she can to prove he or she is qualified.
The few who were chosen are the few who prove they were qualified. Their qualifications was never by who they are, their qualifications was by proving oneself through embracing responsibility. You can’t be qualified if you are not a person of responsibility. Responsibility is what qualifies anyone. The few who were chosen were not chosen out of sentiment. They were chosen out of statistic.
Conclusion:
20 – “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21 – If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.” (2Timothy chapter 2 verses 20 to 21)
We are all called for this very course to be vessel of honour for the Master’s use. We have to constantly purge ourselves of whatever that will be a limitation to that.
