LEADERSHIP WAS ENTRUSTED TO YOU

Leadership was entrusted to you

26 – “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 – So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 – And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 26 to 28)

If leadership was entrusted to an individual, it is in the power and the responsibility of the individual to make that trust to count

It is essential for each individual to come to the knowledge that leadership was entrusted to him or her. Leadership is never optional to every individual. Leadership was a course of human existence. That leadership was entrusted to every individual simply means responsibility was the course of man. Anything that is entrusted to humanity calls for responsibility.

Every individual should get it that life is beyond just living, life is more of responsibility. If leadership was entrusted to an individual, it is in the power and the responsibility of the individual to make that trust to count. There is a gap between one been entrusted leadership and one making it an effective and efficient leadership.

Every individual was bestowed with the spirit of leadership

That leadership was entrusted in an individual is never enough if he or she fails to embrace the full responsibility that he or she was entrusted with leadership. Each individual must accept the fact  that leadership was entrusted in him or her. Leadership is never about gender. Leadership is about everyone was given the ability and opportunity to lead. Given an opportunity to lead is never enough if individual’s will not take it upon oneself to lead right.

Every individual should accept the fact he or she was entrusted with leadership from birth. You can imagine how much trust an individual was able to draw from the heart of God Almighty that He had to entrust each individual with leadership. Every individual was bestowed with the spirit of leadership. That one is bestowed with the spirit of leadership means that he or she has what it takes to venture fully into leadership, making significant impact.

Leadership entrusted on you was authentic

Obviously everyone is entrusted with leadership and that is not from man which might be conditional. Leadership entrusted to humanity was from God Almighty which is not man that He would lie. Leadership entrusted on you was authentic. You need to realise that for the fact it is authentic by God, it is in your responsibility to make it authentic in the human race. There is a part of God Almighty and there is part of man in the affairs of life.

For being entrusted with leadership by God Almighty made every individual a light of the world. Yes, everyone has the ability to reflect light that will shine away every bit obscurity from the face of the earth. This reveals how important and relevant everyone is in the human race. If an individual’s leadership did not shine forth to eliminate darkness from the face of the earth, it is individual’s fault and irresponsibility to discharging his or her leadership effectively.

There are leaders everywhere, but the world is looking for men and women with the God kind of leadership

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” (Mathew chapter 5 verses 14)

There are personalities with leadership ability who never lived to stir up their leadership abilities into the right proportions to be impactful in the human race. Instead of their leaderships to add to lighting the world, have contributed greatly to its obscurity. There are leaders everywhere, but the world is looking for men and women with the God kind of leadership.

Servant leadership is God’s kind of leadership

3 – “That they sent and called him. And Jeroboam and all the congregation of Israel came, and spake unto Rehoboam, saying,

4 – Thy father made our yoke grievous: now therefore make thou the grievous service of thy father, and his heavy yoke which he put upon us, lighter, and we will serve thee.

5 – And he said unto them, Depart yet for three days, then come again to me. And the people departed.

6 – And king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, that stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, and said, How do ye advise that I may answer this people?

7 – And they spake unto him, saying, If thou wilt be a servant unto this people this day, and wilt serve them, and answer them, and speak good words to them, then they will be thy servants for ever.” (1Kings chapter 12 verses 3 to 7)

It is wise to acknowledge that one of the desires of God kind of leadership is for a leader to consolidate power. Servant leadership is God’s kind of leadership. The greatest servant is God Himself.  He is serving billions of people.

8 – But he forsook the counsel of the old men, which they had given him, and consulted with the young men that were grown up with him, and which stood before him:

9 – And he said unto them, What counsel give ye that we may answer this people, who have spoken to me, saying, Make the yoke which thy father did put upon us lighter?

10 – And the young men that were grown up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou speak unto this people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it lighter unto us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My little finger shall be thicker than my father’s loins.

11 – And now whereas my father did lade you with a heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke: my father hath chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.” (1Kings chapter 12 verses 8 to 11)

God is preparing you for what He has already prepared for you. You are the change agent God is waiting for.

Conclusion

The world at large is waiting for your manifestation. Do not withhold your leadership. Let the light of your leadership shine forth and illuminate the whole place, making tremendous impacts, making lives better and the earth a beautiful place to dwell.
