Keep onto your integrity
1 – “Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.
2 – And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
3 – And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.” (Job chapter 2 verses 1 to 3)
Everyone will claimed to be a person of integrity, but a man of integrity who can find
No matter how loyal one may claim to be, one’s loyalty will be tested. It is on this note one’s integrity will be revealed. Everyone will claimed to be a person of integrity, but a man of integrity who can find. There are people everywhere who claimed that they are sincere, not until they pass through the furnace of integrity, then it was discover that they never cultivated such virtues at first.
Integrity is not something that one will claimed. Integrity is a virtue that flow like the stream. It can never be hidden. Integrity is one of the most vital commodity in life one should strive with all that is within him or her to purchase. Once it is purchased, one should guide it with all diligence. It is never a commodity one should allow to varnished. Instead one should put his or her life in it to keep it.
Integrity could be costly but it worth the price
The challenges of life are in to test one’s integrity. There are people in this life who were known to have strong faith, but when they experienced tough challenges they easily give in. Everyone integrity will be tested. Issues of life are in to test one’s integrity on how much we believe in God through accepting the finished work of Christ Jesus on the cross and the level of discipline we have subjected ourselves too. God is not lacking men He can work through, but God seek for men of integrity He can work through.
The world does not lack men and women who can lead, the world is in deep need of men and women of integrity who can lead effectively and efficiently. A man is not known by his position, a man is known by his integrity. Integrity speaks more about a person. Lack of integrity in one’s life equals heart attack. Nothing trustworthy can be entrusted in the hands of someone who lack integrity. Integrity could be costly but it worth the price.
Devil stole everything Job had worked for and he possessions, yet Job never allowed the devil to steal away his integrity towards God
Job lost every thing in this life when the sad news about his children hit him. What else is it he has been working day and night for? All the wealth he has acquired, who then will be the beneficiaries? The investments he had made who then will inherit them. Every thing at the moment became vanity upon vanity. Nothing at that moment should have make sense to him, yet he hold onto his integrity.
At the moment Job has lost everything, there is nothing else that matters to him except his integrity towards God. Devil stole everything Job had worked for and he possessions, yet Job never allowed the devil to steal away his integrity towards God. Job integrity was the only thing that was precious to him at that moment. He vowed never to compromised his integrity at any cost.
You can never see a person of integrity who is not a person of principle
If having a life of integrity does not make sense to you because of the challenges you are facing and passing through at the moment, losing people trust will be so easy. No one will ever have anything of great value to do with a sucker. It is men and women who will stand the test of their integrity will rule their world. Many became failure in life, not because they never had the greatest opportunity in their lives to experience exploitation, many became failure in life because they were not able to stand the test of integrity. Lack of integrity was the true source of their demotion.
Integrity forms one’s life in the right shape and order. When integrity fully forms a person, he or she becomes a person governed by principles. You can never see a person of integrity who is not a person of principle. No one can take away principle from someone who has embraced integrity. Integrity is the light that shines into one’s life and chases away every trace of obscurity.
Conclusion:
The wisest man who ever lived in one of his remarks said,
“Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?” (Proverbs chapter 20 verses 6)
A man of integrity is a faithful man. A woman of integrity is a faithful woman. You can trust such people with your whole life and yet you are safe. God was so proud to say to the devil that Job hold on his integrity. May God help us to hold on to our integrity no matter the circumstances surrounding us in Jesus name, Amen.
