Having the capacity to lead my department as the president was a remarkable achievement and success as we worked hard to make our department a bit better than we met it.

Politics is good and it is beautiful when people played it with clear conscience. When people are with the mindset to serve and transform the society, they will thereby live to make the society a better place than they met it.

Followership should go with the mission to get one transformed so that he or she can be an agent for transformation
The reason why our society is the way it is today, is because those who long to occupy the position of leadership are never good followers. Yes, some of them will argue it that they were good followers. But the question is, good followers of who and what? Any followers who did not receive wholeness in the art of following never followed right. Followership should go with the mission to get one transformed so that he or she can be an agent for transformation.
Jesus assured them that He will make them fishers of men if only they will diligently follow Him. Who you follow will decide how you will turn out. We can see that everyone that Jesus asked to follow Him were accommodating a wounded heart at the time He met
them, but He promised them that He is going to transform them and make them whole so that they will live to transform lives.

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice.
It is as disastrous as whatever one may think of when someone with a wounded heart occupies the position of leadership. Such person will end up raising followers with wounded heart. This is the state of many leaders in the world today. This is the leadership style that has crippled my continent Africa and its robbing the destiny of my God given country Nigeria. They were never great followers for transformation.
