God wants you holy
“Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.” (Leviticus chapter 19 verses 2 KJV)
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” (Romans chapter 12 verses 1 KJV)
Amazingly God satisfied the earth. Verses two of Genesis chapter one said, And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
The earth was nothing to write home about, yet God went ahead to make the best out of all odd for the honour of man kind. Out of darkness He called forth light. Light was introduced to the honour of man. The light was called day, and darkness night all to the honour of man. He caused the greater light to rule by the day and the lesser to rule by the night, to the honour of man kind. God commanded the waters to gathered together unto one place, for the appearance of dry land; to satisfied man kind.
The tree and fruits of all kinds was for man. The aquatic lives was made available for man. What an undescribable honour God first showed to humanity. God indeed made all things beautiful for the sake of man. Man has nothing against God, whether the earth was actually good enough for dwelling and satisfaction.
Nothing stains and smells as living an unholy life
Upon this great honour exhibited to man kind, God only demanded that man should maintain a love relationship with Him by living holy. Nothing stains and smells as living an unholy life. No one can have a right standing with God living an unholy life. That is the misnomer with the hyper grace message. Saying it does not matter what you do with your body, once saved is save. Once saved is save as long as he or she practices holy living. Once saved is not save as long he or she practices unholy living.
“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:” (Ephesians chapter 1 verses 4 KJV)
God chose us. He chose you. He chose I. What for? That we should be holy and without blame before him in love. Can you imagine how much He loves us. He wants to maintain a flow of holy living. With that we shall be called the children of God, walking with Him, reflecting His glory and exercising full dominion.

Get this as we conclude this very episode, the earth was a dwelling place looking at the picture given in verse two of Genesis chapter one. It was God deliberate act that transformed every odd into a reality for human existence. Why would God invested so much in transforming an earth that was without form and void into a paradise? The answer is simple, just that He had man in mind. He cannot give afford to give man anything less. Holy living calls for a price. That should be every believer daily pursuit.
God has greatly honoured humanity and one of the greatest way humanity with show appreciation to God is living a holy life. Everything that was made was made for the purpose of honouring humanity. If God has no regard for man as to show him the ultimate honour, He wouldn’t have spent a whole six days in creation. Creations was a deliberate act. King David said,
“I am fearful and wonderfully made…
Everything that was made was made for the purpose of honouring humanity.
So it is with every other creation, God must have taken all the time to put each accomplishments in place. Why must He do this? Man! Man was the reason. Until God was satisfied with the whole process, then man was fully brought into scene. It pleases God to give man the best, because he will take the full responsibility to tender God’s creation. Of course man was created in the image and likeness of God.
5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.” (Exodus chapter 19 verses 5 to 6 KJV)
“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” (John chapter 4 verses 24 KJV)
Conclusion
Remember God has greatly honoured humanity and one of the greatest way humanity with show appreciation to God is living a holy life. The grace to live a holy life is upon you.
