Get rid of wrong company
You must spend time on your own to sort out what you desire and map out the necessary steps to go after before seeking the assistance of others
One of the greatest challenges in life is believing on people who never believed in you. No matter how you believe in yourself, believing in those who never believed in you is never a wise option. When you believe in people who never believed in you can limit how far you can go in achieving what it is that you desire. No one can afford to put so much trust on those who never trusted his or her judgement.
It is better to stand alone than standing with the wrong set of companies. It is never wrong to be alone when you are preparing for an adventure. You must spend time on your own to sort out what you desire and map out the necessary steps to go after before seeking the assistance of others. If you happen to take that wonderful idea of yours to deliberate it with those who never believed on you, you will amaze you what kind of discouraging opinions you will receive.
Whatever the outcome is as a result of accepting the opinions of your company, you should be held responsible
A good friendship is vital and necessary, standing alone is more vital and necessary than staying with the company of slothful. Staying with the wrong company is worse than being alone. It is better it takes one decades to find to right company than mingling with the wrong company. Take your time to select those whom you will want to share things with. You can’t share a wonderful idea with those who never believed on you and still expect wonderful opinions from them.
You have to take responsibility for your action. The company of fools will grow fools. It is only the company of the wise shall become wiser. If you must grow wise, you have to check your company. Whatever the outcome is as a result of accepting the opinions of your company, you should be held responsible. No one should be blamed that you made the wrong decision. It is your call and you must take and exercise full responsibility.
The only reason why anyone should seek for an association, is for the very reason of obtaining a good result
“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.” (Ecclesiastes chapter 4 verses 9)
Two are better than one according to the scripture above. I am not disputing the fact that two are better than one, but I am more concerned about the reward of being together. If there is no good reward for their labour, it is not worth being together. The only reason why anyone should seek for an association, is for the very reason of obtaining a good result. If not for good reward it is a wasted effort.
One of the greatest tragedies in life is one harbouring the association of fake friends. Anyone who does not believe in you is a fake friend. When it comes to discovering and fulfilling purpose, it is better you are standing and walking alone, than standing and walking with the wrong company. The wrong people are those who does not believe in you, they have the strength to drain you half before you accomplish your goals.
A friend that believes in you is a friend that can be trusted
The worst is the day one will call on those he or she thoughts that are his or her friends, only to find out that no one responded. A friend in need is a friend indeed. A friend that believes in you is a friend that can be trusted. You don’t force people on yourself with the thought and mindset to believe in you. You can’t force friendship. If you do, you will attract the wrong set of people.
There is a time to stand alone. At such time you do not loose anything. Standing alone is never a limitation when you are surrounded with the wrong people. It is never the right adventure having a walk with the wrong people. It will be two steps forward and one step backward. They will create the atmosphere of insecurity and limitations around you. You will lose out and give up on things that standing alone you would have gathered much momentum to keep pressing on till the end.
9 – “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
10 – For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
11 – Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?
12 – And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” (Ecclesiastes chapter 4 verses 9 to 12)
Conclusion:
The book of Ecclesiastes chapter 4 verses 10 says, when one falls, the one will life up his fellow. When you fall and you find out you are the one who lifts yourself, know you that you are not with the right company. Check those who you call friends. If they can’t give you helping hands when you need their assistance, they aren’t worth it.
