Do not destroy that life
Many who were created to save lives have ended up becoming an agent to destroy lives. Tough life has made many to start accepting what they once rejected. For they thought that they need to survive and with that they went ahead causing havoc in search to survive.
“Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:” (Mathew chapter 2 verses 21 KJV)
“Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.” (Mark chapter 10 verses 19 KJV)
It is an abomination to kill
I have seen terrible things happen under the sun, I know there is a reason why some persons will ever live and end their lives in frustration. As a student in campus, I have seen young students from another campus from a different state. This very young guy will arrive campus, picked up gun and raise it against a fellow human being. He will waste a fellow being life as though it was a chicken. He goes back feeling great that the operation was successful, but little did he knew that the blood of the young man will be crying for vengeance.
The point I am making here is that for taking a life, that person can never prosper. He or she will never be whole. I know what is going through the mind of some person that there are many people who have killed, yet they are wealthy today. I don’t care where the person lives at the moment enjoying a comfortable life but right inside of him or her there is a vacuum no amount of pleasure can fill. It is an abomination to kill.
“There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.” (Isaiah chapter 48 verses 22 KJV)
5 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT KILL
- We are created by God
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 27 KJV)
- The blood of human cry for vengeance
10 – And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.
11 – And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand; (Genesis chapter 4 verses 10 to 11 KJV)
- We were all chosen by God
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” (1 Peter chapter 2 verses 9 KJV)
- God commands us not to kill
“For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” (Romans chapter 13 verses 9 KJV)
- We are created to love one another
43 – Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 – But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; (Mathew chapter 5 verses 43 to 44 KJV)
