Diligence in responsibility attracts worthy reward
The rightful discharge of one’s responsibility attracts a worthy reward.
After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled an account with them. And he who had received five came and brought to him five more; saying, master, you entrusted to me five talents; see, here I have gained five more. His master said to him, Well done, you upright and faithful servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little responsibility; I will put you in charge of much. Enter into and share the joy which your master enjoys.
And he also who had the two came forward, saying, master, you entrusted two talents to me; here I have gained two more. His master said to him, well done you upright and faithful servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little; I will put you in charge of much. Enter into and share the joy which your master enjoys. Accountability is not about feeling and emotion, is about the mandate.
You must give account of whatever that is entrusted in your hands
He who had received one came forward saying, master, I knew you to be a harsh and hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you had not the grain. I was afraid, I went ahead and kept your business the way it was handed over to me. Here you have what is your own. But the master answered him, you wicked and lazy and idle servant! Did you indeed know that I reap where I have not sowed and gather where I have not winnowed?
Then you should have invested my money with the bankers and at my coming I would have received what was mine with interest. So take the talent away from him and give it to the one who has ten. For to everyone who has will more be given, and will be furnished richly so that he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have will be taken away. And throw the good – for – nothing servant into the outer darkness; there will be weeping and grinding of teeth. You must give account of whatever that is entrusted in your hands
Accountability is not about feeling and emotion, is about the mandate.
it is wise to have an understanding that everybody is living to accomplish a responsibility which each individual will stand to account for. Accountability has nothing to do about the way you feel, it has no respect to your emotion. It’s about the mandate that brought our existence. What the servant with one talent said about his master may be true. He may be harsh and hardman. Who cares about all he knows and says about his master? There is a mandate, is all about the mandate, to get it accomplish.
The mandate is to embrace your responsibility; the mandate is to accomplish your responsibility; the mandate is to bring forth innovation through your responsibility; the mandate is to bring increase and result; the mandate is to bring transformation; and the mandate is to gladly the heart of the Master. At the end of the journey, we will give an account. King Solomon advice,
Conclusion:
13 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
