Devil strives to destroy you
I can’t forget the testimony of members in Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship International the day we went for prison visitation, that was on 7th march, 2020. He disclosed how the devil strived to destroy him. He said that one his cousin was posted to Lagos state to serve for National youth service corp. This cousin of his died while still serving. His other cousin who abroad came down to the country to serve and he died in this Lagos. That was shocking and terrible. It was after then the devil start telling him,
‘So it will be your case some day.’
‘I will not end like that devil for my case is different,’ he said, boldly
Do not die in that strange land
After school he was posted to lagos state for his national youth service and the devil reminded him, ‘You died in this land.’ He told the devil, ‘I will not died in this land for my case is different.’
Some years later, he was involved in a fatal accident that he was badly injured and those at the scene could not believe he survived it. He said right there he said to devil, ‘Don’t you see I am still alive. I told you my case is different.’ After that the devil still told him is not over yet. Devil will keep striving.
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John chapter 10 verses 10)
Devil will keep striving
Some years after, he was on the bike and they were at top of a mountain driving down the mountain, as the bike man applied the brake, the brake could not hold. They were on a high speed going down. He said, on one side is the mountain side and on the other side is a valley. He confessed no one can fall into such valley from the height they were and survive. He said right away he said, ‘Jesus help me.’ Immediately the stand at a spot and rotate Upto three times and stops. He reminded the devil, ‘Devil my case is different.’
28 – “Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
29 – He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 – Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 – But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah chapter 40 verses 31)
The devil ultimate plan is to destroy you and that can only be possible if you don’t have a stand with God.
He reminded the devil, ‘Devil my case is different.’ That was possible for him because he knows his God. He has a walk with God. It is those tha know their God shall do exploit. That is why Dr David Ogbueli said, ‘You better get God by your side the day the devil will prepare pepper soup for you.’ Surely the devil will check every believer out.
You don’t need to border with tricks of the devil as long as you are in good terms with God. You don’t need to fear the devil, if you do you are skipping your self the opportunity to live the life you are called to live. Of course the fear of devil leads to destroy. The fear God brings safety. The devil ultimate plan is to destroy you and that can only be possible if you don’t have a stand with God.
You don’t need to border with tricks of the devil as long as you are in good terms with God
At the garden of Eden devil strived so much to elude man to seized having a right standing with God, not as though he had a better plan for man kind but to drive man kind far away from his maker so that he the devil will destroy him. Devil is threaten that man was created in the image and likeness of God almighty.
There is an enemy whose ultimate goal is to destroy you. He uses around to accomplish his desire. He can influence those love you to suddenly start hating you. He causes those who once promised to help you to change their mind against you. He is behind you loss out in the contract even when you think you are the most qualified person. That job that was denied to you after you must have undergone the last interview and you are qualified for it. There is nothing good with the devil. All he seeks is your destruction. He wants you to amount to nobody thereby believing that you are created in the image and likeness of God. The best of you comes out when you have the fear of God. You become better when you daily have a walk with God.
Conclusion
Devil is a defeated foe. Do not allow him to take advantage of you and destroy you.
