Building God’s temple God’s way

10 – “According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 – For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 – Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 – Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
14 – If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 – If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
16 – Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 – If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” (1Corianthians chapter 3 verses 10 to 17)

The house that God must dwell in and perform His plans to reveal His glory cannot be a stationery house.
We have to come to the full knowledge on how to build God’s house, God’s own way. The temple of God we are talking about here is never the physical worship centre. God never built His house to be stationery. God built His temple to be a mobile house. The house that God must dwell in and perform His plans to reveal His glory cannot be a stationery house. God wants to reveal His glory everywhere.
The original plan of God when He stepped out for creation was to create man as a mobile being. Anything that made the house to be stationery is never in God’s plan. Any house of God that is stationery cannot reflect the glory of God. It does matter what anyone might think, it is only the house built by mankind that has the ability to be stationery, but that which is built by God never will experience stagnation.

Idols does not reveal the true plans of God
Let me digress a bit, the temple of man is always stationery. That is why God is against idols. Idols does not reveal the true plans of God. They have eyes but they cannot see. They hands but they can’t move it. They have nose but they cannot breath. They have legs but they cannot walk. They have ear but they cannot hear. They have mouth but they cannot speak. Idols does not have any significant impacts and that is why it is never necessary.
The temple of God is never like the idols. The temple of God has eyes and they can see. They have ear and they can hear. They have mouth and they can communicate. They have nose and they can breath. They have hands and can make use of them. They have legs and they can walk. These are the attributes of a mobile temple and altar.

Man is the temple of God and that is why this temple should be handled diligently
We are the temple of God. God does not reside in the worship centre. I understand the fact that anytime believers show up for worship, the presence of God is always there. Man is the temple of God and that is why this temple should be handled diligently. Since it is the temple of God Almighty, it should not be built on man’s accord, it should be built on God’s accord. It is what God’s principles says and the direction God gave for building this temple shall be observed.
“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” (Romans chapter 8 verses 11)

Everything about physical man was that it was designed to host God
The Spirit of God lives in our body. He is a Person and as a Person there is what is demanded of us as we keep building this temple into full perfection. Of course we need to the help of the Holy Spirit to able to build this temple God’s own way. It is never a temple to be built by the flesh. Everything about physical man was that it was designed to host God.
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis chapter 2 verses 7)

The physical man is nothing without the presence of the Holy Spirit
God breathed Himself into the physical man and that made man a living being. It is the Spirit of God in the life of a believer, that identifies the believers. The physical man is nothing without the presence of the Holy Spirit. That is why this temple should be built in the pattern of God so that the Spirit of God can reside in it. The Spirit of God makes the difference in the life of anyone who believes.
According to Romans chapter 8, the Spirit of God in the life of a believer, helps strengthen the believer’s. Jesus called Him the comforter that He will remind the believer of all things. Including on how to build this temple to constantly glorify the Lord God Almighty.

Conclusion:
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” (John chapter 14 verses 26)
To build the temple perfectly in God’s way, we will need the constant help of the Holy Spirit. He is the one that will teach us and reminds us how to keep this temple in tight.
