Blood covenant
1 – And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
2 – And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
3 – And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
4 – As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
5 – Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
6 – And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
7 – And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
8 – And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
9 – And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
10 – This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.” (Genesis chapter 17 verses 1 to 10)
Covenant is the bedrock at which any cordial relationship can stand
In the human senses love can fail. Love can be betrayed. Love can be murdered. Love can be forsaken. But there is something stronger than love and that is covenant. The reason why love failed among some persons was because there was no covenant binding them. The reason love can be betrayed among some persons was the fact that there was no covenant binding them. The essence of covenant is to protect relationship. There is no genuine relationship without a binding covenant. When there is no binding covenant, anything can be possible. Covenant is the bedrock at which any cordial relationship can stand.
Our being together with God is never based by work, but by covenan
The reason why God introduced covenant was because by nature man is selfish, selfcentered and unfaithful. When two persons are in friendship, people always attribute it that they are in love, they need something more serious than love to keep their relationship. Love has the capacity to bring two together, but does not fully have what it takes to keep them. Our being together with God is never based by work, but by covenant.
It is shocking to know that love does not make relationship to work, it is covenant that is the binding force that keeps any relationship to keep booming. Love does not make marriage work, it is the knowledge and commitment to covenant that keeps marriage going. Failure to covenant can cripple any relationship and drags it to the mud. There is no far two can go in their relationship except that relationship is built on covenant.
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Amos chapter 3 verses 3)
The bedrock of the christianity covenant is the blood of Jesus Christ
Christianity is covenant based. The greatest sin in the christendom is the covenant breaking. Breaking of covenant is equals to death. There is no one who breaks covenant that is safe. It is as dangerous as anything and as disastrous as anything when covenant is breaking. It is never a safe motive to break covenant. Breaking of covenant is like a sinking ship in the middle of the sea. It is just a matter of time, it will be drain. Don’t keep breaking covenant and keep believing that you are safe.
Christianity is all about relationship. The most dangerous thing on earth is religion without love, the most fragile thing on earth is love without covenant. Where love is weak, covenant has what it takes to strengthen it. The strength of any genuine relationship is never love but covenant. Covenant protects our relationship with God. Christianity is covenant based. The bedrock of the christianity covenant is the blood of Jesus Christ. We enter into the Christian covenant through the blood of Jesus.
9 – “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 – And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” (Revelation chapter 5 verses 9 to 10)

It is vital to realise that the new testament christianity covenant was established on the blood of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus Christ knew no sin, so it covenant is established from eternity to eternity. There is no other covenant better than this that anyone could be saved. When you enter a covenant with someone greater than you, you will come to that person level.
26 – “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 – For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 – There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 – And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” (Galatians chapter 3 verses 26 to 29)
Covenant is the bedrock of faith.

Covenant is between two people. For every covenant there is an oath. The only way a relationship must be sustained is by covenant.
