Be careful what your attention is focus on
We are living in a dispensation where the attention of the people have been focused on different things, some are good and some are not. My concern about it is that since it involves catching the people attention, it can build and as well ruin people life. What are they pointing your attention to is the question of the moment and the season? Not all that glisters is gold. Be careful about what they are trying to make you take hold of.
The eyes gate is very necessary in this subject of attraction. What you behold or view for long time has the tendency to enter you. Once it enters you it has the tendency to be part of you. Once it is part of you, it has the tendency to control you. Once it can control you, it has the tendency to lead you. Once it can lead you, it has the tendency to lead you right into destiny fulfillment or it has the tendency to lead you wrong into damnation.
What you behold or view for long time has the tendency to enter you.
You should know that your attention is your focus. Whatever that captures your attention has what it takes to capture your full focus. Whatever that captures your focus can be a stronghold. As you go through the journey of life to fulfill destiny, you have be deliberate about whatever it is your attention is about to be yield to, that could be a distraction in disguise.
“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” Genesis chapter 3 verses 1)
The devil pointed her attention to what the Lord God Almighty has instructed them not to touch.
“But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (Genesis chapter 2 verses 17)
You have be deliberate about whatever it is your attention is about to be yield to, that could be a distraction in disguise.
The same fruit the Lord God Almighty said any day you eat of it you shall die, is the same fruit the devil is ministering to you that you will be safe after committing such treason against the principle of God Almighty. If Adam and Eve did not escape it, how on earth did you think you will escape after committing the same act of disobedience? The consequence of disobedience awaits anyone who falls a victim to it.
To some persons their attentions have been to internet where there are post to all manner of debauched life styles. Some became drug addict. They take all manner of drugs to be high at every second, minute and hour of day. It is because of what they learnt from internet and thinking that they are living not knowing that they are actually dieing. The same internet people go to obtain vital that help them navigate through life and become great, is the same internet some go through to get their life messed up.
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Proverbs chapter 14 verses 12.)
I pray you never live to regret it.
It might not matter now because the matter has not arisen. When the matter arises, I pray it is never too late for amendment. You might be thinking you are enjoying because everything seems to be good in your own eyes at the moment. Even when those who happened to tread through the same path in the time past and God helped them to realise themselves and escape the damnation of their wrong living are talking to you, you chose to be adamant about it. Soon you will realise what you have done to yourself. I pray you never live to regret it.
Some teenagers start launching themselves in sexual business because they thought that is the only way to proof their worth. ‘There is a way that seem right.’ You better strive to see the end of what you are about to venture into. Ask people about it. Not those in the field of immorality, they will only give you what they have. It will take someone with the sound moral attitude to supply you with sound answers to whatever you desire to know.
It griefs my heart when I find out that there are those who had the right question but they met the wrong persons who supplied them with the wrong answer that ended up misleading them. They were told there is nothing wrong with that, it is all about self discovery. The same self discovery have made many end up with unwanted pregnancies; some ended up soiling their hands with blood by undergoing abortions. Some because of the predicament and shame they will face from people, ended up dropping out of school. Of course many ended up regretting why they accepted the suggestion in the first place.
Conclusion
Do not forget the serpent respond, in the book of Genesis chapter 3 verses 4,
“And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:” Once she tried it, then and there she regretted the whole process of yielding to such ugly suggestion from the serpent. Guide your attention with all diligent.
