Always believe you can stand
Your journey as a diaspora in a strange land will never be an easy one. It is a strange land and there strange challenges await you there. No matter the beautiful stories you hear about a particular nation, there are issues surrounding that particular nation that you might not be aware until you step your foot in it. There are things that will not be obvious to you till you come in contact with that nation.
No nation has ever experienced its state of perfection. And no nation has ever been the state of total freedom. There are issues you will not notice because you are afar of, but when you step in, you will realise there are more challenges confronting an individual than you’d ever think. The land you think that is flowing with milk and honey, might be the same land that eats its inhabitants. The same land you think is a promised land for you to do exploit, is the same land where there are giants to hinder you.
No nation has ever experienced its state of perfection
Do not be deceived, there is no place which is completely free from challenges. The earth has been messed up. The earth been messed up is a general palava, and we all need to understand that no matter matter the policy governing a particular nation, there will still be challenges here and there that will be an obstacle to the leadership. The earth has not yet arrived or experienced its state of complete stability and total freedom from challenges.
There are new challenges facing each nation at any point in time. No matter how comfortable and well looking and organized a nation is, it has new challenges confronting it. Though there is a good side of every nation and there is a bad side of every nation. It is quite understandable that in some nations their bad side weight more than the good side. That is well understandable, but do not for forget that all that glitters is not gold.
The land you think that is flowing with milk and honey, might be the same land that eats its inhabitants.
The land you think it is a promised land for land can turn out to be the worst land for you. I am not wishing you bad but I am saying based on statistics. There are people who actually left their land of birth to a particular land in search of green pasture and it wasn’t the story they thought before leaving their nation to this very nation, is the story that they are experiencing. In as much as you believe you can stand, also believe you can make it, and also know this that every land is never made for you.
“The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein.” (Psalm 24 verses 1)
The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it. The nation you are in is the Lord’s. The nation you desire to migrate to is the Lord’s. God is the Master of the universe. God created us in His image after His likeness. Where God placed you from the beginning is God’s desire for you and if you desire to migrate to another place or nation, you have to consult God on the next move you are about to take.
God is the Master of the universe
If indeed you carry God along side of your trip, then you have no option than you believe you can stand and you will succeed in that strange land. Always recognise the fact that you did not create yourself. Someone created you. You are not your own source. Someone is your source. God is your source and you get to make Him your sustained in any of your journey in life.
You get to so much trust God in everything and believe you have no power of your own to stand the storms of life, then God will prove Himself mighty in your life and the situation surrounding you at any moment. Once you get God involved, you are not alone on that trip. Always acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.
[4] So shalt thou find favour and good understanding In the sight of God and man.
[5] Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding.
[6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.” (Proverbs chapter 3 verses 4 to 6)
Conclusion:
Always know this that God wants you to succeed in everything you do and everywhere you go. You need to make sure you get God in the boat. No matter what the storms of life will always show up.
