Be relevant the day you are called
14 – “Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.
15 – And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.
16 – And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.
17 – And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood upon the bank of the river:
18 – And, behold, there came up out of the river seven kine, fatfleshed and well favoured; and they fed in a meadow:
19 – And, behold, seven other kine came up after them, poor and very ill favoured and leanfleshed, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:
20 – And the lean and the ill favoured kine did eat up the first seven fat kine:
21 – And when they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten them; but they were still ill favoured, as at the beginning. So I awoke.
22 – And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up in one stalk, full and good:
23 – And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them:
24 – And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears: and I told this unto the magicians; but there was none that could declare it to me.
25 – And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do.
26 – The seven good kine are seven years; and the seven good ears are seven years: the dream is one.
27 – And the seven thin and ill favoured kine that came up after them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of famine.
28 – This is the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: What God is about to do he sheweth unto Pharaoh.
29 – Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt:
30 – And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land;
31 – And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine following; for it shall be very grievous.
32 – And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.
33 – Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.
34 – Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.
35 – And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.
36 – And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine.
37 – And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.
38 – And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?
39 – And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:
40 – Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.
41 – And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.
42 – And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;
43 – And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.
44 – And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hande or foot in all the land of Egypt.” (Genesis chapter 41 verses 14 to 44)

You need to be found relevant the day you are recommended and the moment you are called. Many are living on past glory. Many were once known as men and women of integrity, but they cannot be traced with such an enviable quality. People we once met at our journey to fulfilling purpose, there is a tendency we might meet them again. It is only the good memory shared together that we keep us flowing together.
Those we have met in life may turn out to be that ultimate connector we ever dreamed and desire. If you ever think that people you are meeting at the moment does not make sense, that will be a critical mistake on your part. You have to value whoever that comes your way and make everything possible to impart their lives. It is the impact you make in one’s life that comes back to you as a good gesture. Even when some persons will forget the good deeds you did to them, there are those who will never forget.
Nobody could be of solution at the moment.
It was two years the servant of pharaoh who Joseph interpreted his dream when they were in prison, finally recommended him to Pharaoh. What made him not to doubt the fact that Joseph may not have been in turned till that very moment, is what we don’t know. The fact remains that they were in a critical situation that involved lives. Everyone was running helter shelter. They were in deep confusion. The man mentioned Joseph to Pharaoh because he knew Joseph will be relevant to provide Pharaoh with the necessary answers he needed.
Even if Joseph was not located in the prison any more, there would have been a public announcement in the land for whoever who knows the way about of the Hebrew called Joseph should quickly inform the king with a price tag. They have no option because the situation on ground was beyond all the magiscians of Egypt and all the wise men. Nobody could be of solution at the moment.
“And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.” (Genesis chapter 41 verses 8)
Joseph projected God’s glory ahead of his ambition.
Your relevance should be tagged on God. In life, it is wise for everyone to come to the point that we should be assure of the very fact that we are nothing without God. The gift we possess was given to us by God, and it is for His glory. You see when Pharaoh starts explaining to Joseph that he had a dream, Joseph responded that he is not the one who gives interpretation to dreams, but God will reveal the answers to the dream. Joseph projected God’s glory ahead of his ambition.
“And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do.” (Genesis chapter 41 verses 25)
You relevant is never about who you are, you relevant is about the God you carry.
You become much more relevant when God is glorified. We are vessels filled up with the Spirit of God Almighty to reveal His glory wherever we found ourselves through us. For one’s gift to spring out its true virtues, he or she needs to have and constantly observes a proper alignment with God Almighty. You must have the right position with God so that He can flow through you. You relevant is never about who you are, you relevant is about the God you carry.
When Joseph provided the true answers to Pharaoh dreams, everyone was astonished. Even the whole magiscians of Egypt and the whole wise men whose magic and wisdom was flopped, were amazed how Joseph was able to explained the dreams. They knew there was something about Joseph that they are yet to understand. I know some of them will want to meet him and asked him what amount will it cost them to be able to tap into the realm that he Joseph operated from.
Once the grace of God lift a man up, nothing in the whole universe can pull him down.
While some of them were angry and bitter that the Hebrew young man was able to provide the necessary interpretation to Pharaoh’s dreams. Yet, others are happy that he was able to saved their lives from disaster that would have befall them if no one was able to give the proper interpretation. That does not make any sense at the moment because Joseph had been elevated to the second in command in the land of Egypt. There is nothing any one can do about it. Once the grace of God lift a man up, nothing in the whole universe can pull him down.
I understand that some persons will be saying that how come it took Pharaoh’s servant up to two years before he was able to disclosed Joseph matter to the Pharaoh. He believes there was enough magiscians and wise men in the land who can interpret dreams. Not until the critical situation that throw everyone off balance emerged. The Pharaoh servant may not have like the fact that Joseph is a Hebrew man. But that does not matter at the moment, because even himself is not safe from Pharaoh wroth.
Conclusion:
Everyone has an appointed time to be announced. You may be touring, once you maintain your alignment and standing with God, you will be announced and elevated soonest than you ever think. Do not lose hope in your gift. It will surely speak some day. Your gift has what it takes to make you stand before great men. Do not look down on yourself. Keep appreciating who you are as you maintain a right standing with God.
