Your gift will make you stand before great men
1 – “And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.
2 – And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favoured kine and fatfleshed; and they fed in a meadow.
3 – And, behold, seven other kine came up after them out of the river, ill favoured and leanfleshed; and stood by the other kine upon the brink of the river.
4 – And the ill favoured and leanfleshed kine did eat up the seven well favoured and fat kine. So Pharaoh awoke.
5 – And he slept and dreamed the second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, rank and good.
6 – And, behold, seven thin ears and blasted with the east wind sprung up after them.
7 – And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, it was a dream.
8 – And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.
9 – Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:
10 – Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard’s house, both me and the chief baker:
11 – And we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream.
12 – And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.
13 – And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and him he hanged.
14 – Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.
15 – And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.” (Genesis chapter 41 verses 1 to 15)
There is something about you that is for the glory of God in the land where you found yourself.
One’s gift is not a respected of locality. It does not matter where one finds him or herself, all you need to understand is that your God given gift cannot change because of change of locality. Your gift remains intight within you. Every where you go, it is still relevant. You can’t presume because of the locality where you are at the moment is the reason why your God given gift cannot thrive. That is never true.
You only need to know and understand who you are. You need to know the Spirit that possesses you and what you carry. The reason why some persons believe that their present locality is the reason why they cannot make any move within the locality they are in,qp is because they have missed it some where. You can’t forget your true identity and start living like anyone else. There is something about you that is for the glory of God in the land where you found yourself.
We are created to succeed and do great exploit wherever we found ourselves.
Wherever you found yourself is part of God’s plan concerning you for God to reveal His glory. Always picture God in the equation wherever you found yourself. Nothing about your gift and your present locality is an accident. You can’t take God off the equation and expect to succeed. Every success in any locality is determined by one’s dependant on God Almighty and His power to perform wonders in due season.
Where you found yourself might not really matter but what you carry matters alot. You can’t be thinking less or expect less when you are sure you carry God. Every thing about life and its success and fulfillment is centred at having God at the center of it all. Once God is fully involved, every controversy will be settled and work for our lifting. We are created to succeed and do great exploit wherever we found ourselves.
Even in the strange land, Joseph was in control.
“The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” (Psalms chapter 24 verses 1)
Joseph was never an Egyptian. His lineage has nothing to do with the connection to Egypt. Of course, he was a Hebrews and he understood that they are the carrier of God’s presence. As a Hebrews young man, he placed so much valued on God’s presence and he strived all through his life to maintain that flow. Even in the strange land, Joseph was in control. He never felt the hardship stranger faced when they relocate in another man’s land. Instead he was favoured in every place he found himself.
It was not Joseph gender that gave him the breakthrough to meet Pharaoh. It was not Joseph complexion that guarantee his meeting with Pharaoh. It was not his tribe that granted him access to meet Pharaoh. It was not how skillful he was that paved way for him to meet Pharaoh. It was his God’s gift of interpretation of dreams that paved the way and grant him access to meet with the number one man in a great nation of that time like Egypt.
Conclusion:
“Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.” (Genesis chapter 41 verses 14)
Because his gift will bring solution and change things around, everything about his person was changed immediately Pharaoh picked interest to meet him. His personality was changed because he carried something everyone at the moment was longing for. The gift of a man makes way for him. You have to place so much value on your God given gift. Your gift has what it takes to announces you and bring you before great men. If it happened to Joseph, it can happen to anyone.
