The church is matching on
13 – “When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14 – And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15 – He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 – And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 – And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 – And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 – And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Mathew chapter 16 verses 13 to 19)
Jesus has to work in us before working through us.
It is lovely when we sing the song of the assurance of our victory and reinforcement that we cannot be stamped by anyone or forces or situations or circumstances. I know you will like the hear the song or rather you will want and enjoy singing the words along side with me. It is one of the songs that gets us on track and set us on fire, passionate about the kingdom agenda with the full confidence and assurance we have gotten what it takes to accomplish our mission on earth. Sing along side with me as we match on.

The gates of hell shall not prevail
The church is matching on
It was never man’s assurance that the gates of hell shall prevail. It was the assurance of our Lord and Master Jesus to everyone that believes on Him. When we come to Jesus with total yielding to His Lordship, He therefore works in us to the perfection of His Will so that He can then flow through us. It is Jesus in the inside that works on the outside. Jesus has to work in us before working through us.
In the process of the church matching on, with the joy in our heart we are bound to step on each other.
When we sing the song, ‘The church is matching on’ we feel this excitement going through the rhyme of the words, yet little do most of the people understand what they are confessing. When we sing the church is matching on, it is expected for everyone to sing it with the full knowledge of what we are confessing. We can only live the victorious Christian life when the words of mouth our aline with the action we take.
The church needs to be matching on, for that is the only reason the church is experiencing progress. Any church that is not matching on is not confessing Jesus. Any church that is stagnant does not represent the true church of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ. In the process of the church matching on, with the joy in our heart we are bound to step on each other. It is stepping on one another is never intentional. But it is part of the church is matching on.
They are interested about facing the gates of hell, and to see the miraculous triumph over those gates.
Even when someone steps on another person, you find out with joy in his or her heart as he or she apologises, the other person most of time with a smile on his or her nods in acknowledgment that apologies accepted. This is possible because they understand that they need to be and remain focused for the great vision before them. They don’t need to get distracted by a mare stepping on one’s toe.
They are interested about facing the gates of hell, and to see the miraculous triumph over those gates. They were never interested in facing the gates of your fellow man. This is the one of the greatest challenges in the christendom. Why is it that the gates of hell does not have what it takes to elude us when we have a right standing with God; yet we allow a mere issue with a fellow brethren to hinder us from matching on. What a misnomer!
Nothing can stop the church from marching on, not even you quitting from the team.
It is so amazing and shameful that we are tools to stop ourselves from letting the church to keep matching on. You so much took it personal that someone stepped on you on our matching on, that that took your view off the vision and the goal. How did you ever think that no one will step on you when the church is matching on. If you think that no one will step on you, that means everyone should remain in the state of stagnation.
The church that is matching on has the tendency to step on each other. The joy of matching on should overshadow us that we will be encroached by the vision before us and never be mindful of who steps on each other. When the gates of hell cannot elude us from matching on as a church, we should not let offence to be the key factors why the church is in stampede. Nothing can stop the church from marching on, not even you quitting from the team.
Conclusion:
“Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come:…” (Luke chapter chapter 17 verses 1A)
Jesus knew offences must come, but it is never a reason why the church should stop matching on. We need to come to the full knowledge of our mission to see Jesus Christ being glorified in every city, state, nation, continent and the world at large.
