The LORD being our Shepherd
1 – “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 – He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 – He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 – Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 – Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 – Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.” (Psalms chapter 23 verses 1 to 6)
God is not going to leave us half way after He has brought us this far.
When the Lord becomes the driver of one’s life, it is not as though there will not be desires that are unmet at the moment, but one’s need will be met. When the Lord God Almighty is the anchor of one’s life, one’s destination is secured. The Lord God cannot be the captain of one’s life and the person sinks in the midst of the ocean of life’s challenges. There are challenges in life, and we need to know how to go about them when we put our trust in the lordship of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ.
When the Lord God Almighty is riding the boat of our destiny, we will be preserved all through the storms with the belief that our God is well able to preserve and deliver us from any storm of life. There is need for God to be in charge of our journey through the path of destiny because He knows our respective destination from the beginning. God is not going to leave us half way after He has brought us this far.
It is so vital to know that whatever we are passing through at the moment, the Lord God Almighty is right there in the process with us
“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” (Isaiah chapter 43 verses 2)
It is so vital to know that whatever we are passing through at the moment, the Lord God Almighty is right there in the process with us. There is an assurance that we are going to make it to the other side of the land where there is milk and honey flowing. For the journey to fulfill one’s destiny, it is not going to be easy that is what the Holy Bible is bringing to the knowledge of anyone. But one thing is sure when we are on the right track with God, our future is guaranteed.
There is this inner strengthen for anyone who has a genuine walk with God Almighty.
From the scripture according to the book of Isaiah chapter 43 verses 2, we can find out that in the deep when one may thinks there is no hope to proceed to withstand the confrontation of the life challenges, that God is our hope. For the fact that God is our hope, no matter the confrontation of the life challenges that seem that one is going to drain in it, we are going to conquer and come out stronger.
There is an adage that said that when a father send his son to steal, the son uses his leg to break down the door. There is this inner strengthen for anyone who has a genuine walk with God Almighty. Though it may seem that we are not going to navigate through the present challenge, yet we should have full confidence to the One that is beside us. The victory to arrived successful to our destination, is never based on one’s strengths, it is based on God that is taking the trip with us.
What drives one’s life determines one’s destination.
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” (Psalms chapter 23 verses 4)
There is no controversy if fear will grips one’s heart as we go through the turbulent storm of life, but when the pillar that holds our lives is God Almighty, every fear vanish as the vapours in the air. There is an inner quickening to keep one moving with the assurance of a beautiful ending. There is always a beautiful ending when it comes with the Lord God Almighty taking each steps with us.
The Lord is my leader, driver and director of my life. Our life is designed as a car. Everybody life is driven by something. Whatever that is in charge of one’s life matters alot. The heart of a man is like the engine of the car. One’s human spirit is the engine of the car. The soul is the stiring. What drives one’s life determines one’s destination.

When the Lord God Almighty is fully involve in our trip, He will always make a way for us at every point in life when we are confronted with any challenge. You can bear in heart that even when people are seeking for our down fall and being drain in the middle of the sea, God will bring help that will take us to our destination safely.
