The fear of failure the inward storm
1 – “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 – And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 1 to 2)
The fear to continue would have crippled everything if God had succumbed to the situation
If humanity were to judge God Almighty by the book of Genesis chapter one verses one to two, there would have been a great conclusion that He was a failure. Situation does not crunch one’s ability to perform especially when he or she is captivated by the goal of whatever he or she wants to achieve. God stepped in for a mission, that He encountered situation does not make God a failure. That is the point everyone get to realise as you read through this episode that situation does not make one a failure.
The earth was without form and void, it did not end there. The bible went ahead to say that darkness was upon the face of the deep. That would have been triple situations. The first was the earth without form; second it is void, and third darkness encroached. The fear to continue would have crippled everything if God had succumbed to the situation. Even before the starting of any goal, there is always a situation.
We can’t continue to see situation as a stumbling block but a stepping stone
From God’s perspective it is never advisable that anyone should quit any adventure because he or she encounters any situation. Situation should never be the reason why one should quit from attaining to his or her goal. Situation will always surface. In all every Christian believer is more real than any situation. When one’s heart is saturated with the goal and vision of what he or she wants to achieve, no situation can stop such person.
From the God’s point of view, it will be a crime under the sun if a Christian believer accepts the manifestation of situation and stand on it as a reason to accept defeat. Situation was made to stir up one’s inner ability to do more and get the necessary results. We can’t know the kind of wisdom that is bestowed in us until we are able to confront any situation and deal with it. We can’t continue to see situation as a stumbling block but a stepping stone.
Doubt to venture into a project drains one’s ability to start and accomplish such project
The fear of failure has so much limited people more than they can limit themselves. It does not matter the wonderful vision one must have written down to run with, once he or she has not fully prepared his or her heart to run with such vision, he or she will always have the inner doubt to start. Once doubt steps in, it can give room to the fear of failure. Doubt to venture into a project drains one’s ability to start and accomplish such project.
The book of Genesis chapter one verses one said that the very beginning God stepped out to create the heaven and the earth that was when situation stepped in. At the very beginning when the foundation of creation was going on, that was when darkness encroached and made every effort God deployed to create heaven and earth look in vain. The presence of darkness made the earth that was created at the moment, was without form and was void. That was enough reason for God to develop the fear of failure. But it was never so with God because He was driven with the vision to build and establish a beautiful earth that is a true reflection of heaven.
The image you are carrying is never made to accept failure for any reason
The fear of failure is the reason many never amount to anything significant. The first inward storm is the fear of failure. Anyone who desires to be great and do great things in life, he or she should be ready to deal with the first inward storm which is the fear of failure. Everyone needs to wipe away such horrible visitor which was never to be entertained and accommodated.
The fear of failure is a necessary step to success. It is never wrong to accommodate failure but do anything in your power to deal with the fear of failure. The man who never made a mistake never did anything. Give room for failure but never accept failure to settle with it as an option. The image you are carrying is never made to accept failure for any reason.
It is impossible for anyone to succeed without suffering
It makes so much meaning for anyone who is willing to conquer any situation and venture into whatever he or she desires and gets it accomplished to make up his or her heart never to accommodate the fear of failure. One can accept failure in the positive sense which can become effective when one believes that the right to fail is as vital as the right to succeed. It is impossible for anyone to succeed without suffering.
24 – “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
25 – He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.” (John chapter 12 verses 24 to 25)
Conclusion:
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (Galatians chapter 2 verses 20)
Though man may have lost the confidence to overcome failure, but the finished work of Christ Jesus restored man to the place of complete authority to be able to withstand any situation and deal with any fear.
