Dominion is a gift to mankind
26 – And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 – So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 – And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 26 to 28)
There is nothing of such kind as a proof to acquire a special dominion
Dominion was a gift bestowed to everyone but not everyone live to exercise it. The issue with dominion is that it is available in everyone but not everyone lives to exercise it. One of the greatest challenges in life is not that man was never created to exercise dominion over the creation of the earth, one of the greatest challenges in life is that most of the people never live to exercise such dominion.
The issue about mankind and dominion is that so many people never come to the belief that dominion is a gift to mankind. They think it is one special act or occurrence that will generate an inner witness in one’s life to show that he or she has acquired dominion to live a successful and a victorious life. There is nothing of such kind as a proof to acquire a special dominion.
Man is all about exercising dominion over every creations on earth
God meant what He said. God the Father said to the rest of the Trinity that the reason They created man in His image after His likeness is so that man can exercise dominion. Dominion over every creation is the reason man came into scene in the first place. God never said that man will be going to acquire a special dominion for the reason of creation so that he will be able to deploy dominion.
Dominion was bestowed in man as the main reason to ever come into existence. Anything that does not look like dominion is never of man. Dominion is like the breath that man breath. Dominion is what man is, not what man is going to become. There is something awesome about man that God did not create him less than He is. As He is so are we in this earth. Man is all about exercising dominion over every creations on earth.
“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.” (1John chapter 4 verses 17)
To live under commanded dominion, one has to pay the price to stir it up
Before the fall of man we were made perfect in God. Man was created and made in the fulness of God. Based on the dominion authority bestowed on man, he can actually function as God Almighty. If God Almighty is powerful, so man is powerful. If God Almighty can do all things, so can man can do all things. If God Almighty can make all things possible, so is it with man that he can make all things possible. If God is unbeatable, so is it with man that he is unbeatable.
Though dominion is a gift to mankind, but to fully exercise it calls for a price. Dominion is never as free as some persons take it to be. Though it is a free gift from God because man did not bargain for it in the first place, but to live under commanded dominion, one has to pay the price to stir it up. If one fails to pay the price to stir up the gift of dominion bestowed in through having and observing a genuine and cordial relationship and alignment with God Almighty, he or she will never experience the life of dominion.
life becomes hard when people fail in their place to take up the necessary responsibilities to make the best out of life
That you have money in your bank account deposited there by your wealthy parents for you to live a successful and victorious life all through your life time on earth, sounds great. If by default you believe that because you have such an amazing sum of money in your bank account that those money in the bank will start working for you immediately, you must be a joker. Though you have such huge sum of money in your account, if you fail to go the bank and fill teller, you will be amazed at the manner hunger that will mess you up.
There is no controversy whether you are rich or not, but when you fail to take up the full responsibility to take up those to get yourself whatever you ever wanted, life will keep being hard on you. Life is never hard as some persons might have concluded, life becomes hard when people fail in their place to take up the necessary responsibilities to make the best out of life.
That is why discipleship remains the only process to get people aligned under commanded dominion and live to reveal God’s glory
Dominion is a process. Those who exercise dominion are those who were able to discover their place in dominion, stir it up and deploy it for maximum impact. The aspect of dominion is a realm where man can be able to take charge and control over the earth and make the earth more beautiful than we met it. You can exercise dominion until you pay the price for it. That is why discipleship remains the only process to get people aligned under commanded dominion and live to reveal God’s glory.

Life is beautiful when we are able to live the life of dominion everywhere we find ourselves. Life to man is all about dominion.
