Raising the right leaders
1 – “These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 – As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
3 – And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
4 – I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 – And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
6 – I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
7 – Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
8 – For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9 – I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 – And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 – And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 – While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.” (John chapter 17 verses 1 to 12)
The mission mandate has always been raising transformational leaders
Raising leaders that will take over the mission mandate and continue to propagate the vision of the mission mandate is of great importance. The success of any successful leader is his ability to duplicate himself. Duplicating oneself in another person who will live to raise more transformational leaders. The mission mandate has always been raising transformational leaders.
You can only have the capacity to raise transformational leaders if you are a transformational leader. You can only raise who you are. You cannot raise what you are not. You can’t raise people more than the knowledge you have. If one’s goal is to raise transformational leaders, he or she must first of all desire to be a transformational leader. When you truly understand leadership, raising people who will live the space of time to be transformational agent in the society will be your heart beat.
The kingdom agenda can keep proceeding when men are yielded to the mission mandate
Jesus Christ the greatest Leader of all time made it a point of duty in the journey fulfilling purpose to raise men who are eager to drive the mission mandate and to raise other successors. The true legacy of an individual created in the image after the likeness of God is to live to create yourself in others. This is so vital in the propagation of the kingdom agenda. The kingdom agenda can keep proceeding when men are yielded to the mission mandate.
The mission mandate is never on the shoulders of men who do not have the kingdom mission mindset. To develop and stir up a kingdom mentality requires the price to yield oneself under tutoring and training for the purpose of the kingdom. One of the major goals of the kingdom is raising transformational leaders. When there is availability of men whose shoulders are capable of carrying the mission mandate, transformation will be a daily occurrence.
There is need to raise men with the right heart for the mission agenda and mandate
Raising transformational leaders should be the ultimate goal of every leader. The motto of Dominion City is “raising leaders that transform the society.” Life is all about raising true leaders for the Master’s use. God is looking for men He can use. There are many men but there are limited men with the heart of the mission mandate. God cannot use an anyhow man. There is need to raise men with the right heart for the mission agenda and mandate.
“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” (Ezekiel chapter 22 verses 30)
Conclusion:
Jesus after He was able to raise men, He said He has finished His first assignment. Jesus finished His primary responsibility when He deployed his disciples to raise men for the Master. Life and leadership is all about raising men who will carry on with the mission mandate.
“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.” (John chapter 17 verses 4)
