I live to finish my course
“Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” (John chapter 4 verses 34)
The capacity of the responsibility man was created to fulfill distinguished man from other living creatures
Every thing in life was introduced and established on purpose. Everything that was created are all bright and beautiful. Everything created been it great or small has a significant purpose on which it was created. Nothing is life was ever an accident. It is the Lord God Almighty that made all things. Every thing is on course and it is made for everything to fulfill its course.
Man created in the image after the likeness of God Almighty for a course. The capacity of the responsibility man was created to fulfill distinguished man from other living creatures. There are other living creatures in existence but their responsibilities differ from that of man. There are aquatic live; birds that fly in the sky. Wild animals in the bush and forest. Their existence is for a course.
The beauty of life and living is found in the place of fulfilling one’s course.
Let us trace back to be able to ascertain the reason why man came into place and the course he was created to fulfill. The course man was created to fulfill created a vineyard for him. The significant of any man is his ability to be able to discover his God given course on earth. The beauty of life and living is found in the place of fulfilling one’s course.
26 – “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 – So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 – And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 26 to 28)
When God blessed man, He impacted in him the enabler which is the enablement to fulfil his course. The fulfillment of life starts when man is able to discover his course in life. There is nothing as beautiful as being able to discover one’s course in life and live to get it fulfilled. Walking and living out of course is the worst thing that can happen to any individual. One’s ability to fulfill one’s course is his ability to live a significant life.
You will be held responsible if you fail to fulfill your God given course
Life counts when one’s course counts. One’s course counts when he is willing and able to get it accomplished. Every thing about fulfilling one’s course starts with the willingness of the heart. If he is not yet willing to embark on fulfilling his course, nothing significant will happen. Everyone life is attached to his course in life. Everyone will be remembered by what he or she has done.
It is never how long one lived that matters, it is how long one loves and eager to see his course fulfill that matters. The joy of life is the joy of discovery one’s course. The joy of living is the joy of fulfilling one’s course. You are created for a course. You live to fulfill a specific course and it is in your power to fulfill your course. You will be held responsible if you fail to fulfill your God given course.
The individual course in life is to make the earth more beautiful as we met it
In John chapter 4 verses 34, Jesus saith unto them, ‘My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.’ The joy of discovery one’s course is to get it fulfilled. Discovery of one’s course is never enough. If one discover his or her course in life and fails to execute it, that will make no significant difference. The significant of any event in life is when each individual is able to finished his or her course.
Jesus said He is not only going to start His course but He will get it accomplished. There is a reason to live and the reason to live is the reason to fulfill one’s course. That is the reason we all made it this far, to stay in alignment and get our respective course make significant impact to the life of the people and the world at large. The individual course in life is to make the earth more beautiful as we met it. That can only be possible if we are able to finished our course.
Apostle Paul when he discovered his course, he was zealous about each step to get such course accomplished. He never lost focus for a single bit about the desire of his course to finished his course. He made it profane that,
“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (Philippians chapter 1 verses 21)
To him, life was all about disvovering one’s course in life and finished it. How beautiful it is when each individual lives to fulfill his or her course? How beautiful will the entire world look like if everyone lives for the very course and the consciousness to get one’s course finished. Paul understood it better going about one place and the other fulfilling purpose. He was never ashamed of all he was doing to got his course finished. That is why he boldly said at the end of his journey according to his letter to his son Timothy.
6 – “For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 – I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 – Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” (2Timothy chapter 4 verses 6 to 8)
Conclusion:
There is a crown for anyone who is able to finished his or her course. The Lord God Almighty the righteous Jugde will be waiting to reward everyone who is able to finished his or her course. The ultimate final statement will be, “Welldone you good and faithful servant.”
