The Man God uses

19 – “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

20 – But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

21 – If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.” (2Timothy chapter 2 verses 19 to 21)

There is a standard anyone who wants to be used by God has to meet for the Master’s use

The body of man is a to host God. The human body was originally designed to be God’s dwelling place. That simply means that if there is any where one should look for God, that should be in a man. God greatest desire is to dwell and flow through man. The human body is the only vessel God have chosen to effectively host Him and through this vessel He can reveal His glory to the dieing world.

There is a man God uses. Everyone was fashioned, designed and was created to be used by God.  There is a standard anyone who wants to be used by God has to meet for the Master’s use. Everyone was created for this very purpose, but not everyone has met the standard. Until one meets the standard, he or she cannot be a vessel suitable for the Master’s use. A man God used must realise that he must meet the standard.

The man God uses must be a person of responsibility

There is no sentimental play on the man God uses. The foundation of God stands sure. The standard of the man God uses is rigid. Everything about the man God uses is solid. There is no room for flexibility. I understand the fact that some persons might not agree with this but that is what is it. There is an already laid standard for anyone who wants to be used by God. The man God uses must take off any thought of sentiment. Sentiment cannot be entertained when God is in search of a man to be used.

Responsibility is part of the factors about the man God uses. Oh yes, the call from God to any individual, is a call of responsibility. The man God uses must be a person of responsibility.  The end point of God’s call upon a person is for responsibility. When God starts searching for a man, it is by the reason of a specific responsibility to be accomplished. If there is no responsibility to be accomplished, God cannot waste His time going after the man to be used.

God can use anyone but He can’t flow effectively through some set of people

God cannot work with lazy people.  You  are the person who will prove yourself a person of responsibility if you desire to  be used by God. You must show yourself eager for the very reason you are created to do God’s Will. God can use anyone but He can’t flow effectively through some set of people.  Of course in the natural, there is a level one can flow with lazy people. Where laziness abides, procrastination is inevitable. It was on this account that Paul made known in his letter to Corinth,

9 – “For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

10 – But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

11 – Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.” (1Corianthians chapter 15 verses 9 to 11)

You must be a person who understands the place of discipline if you will be used by God

The man God uses has a call for discipline. Remember that the foundation of God stands sure, that is discipline. There is no room for compromise. You must be a person who understands the place of discipline if you will be used by God. The Word of God is the word of discipline. If God’s Word was unable to discipline you as a believer, nothing else can effectively discipline you. It was on this very course that king David made it obvious that the Word of God has the full ability to transform and discipline one into the vessel God can use.

“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” (Psalms chapter 119 verses 11)

Discipline is part of life

Paul the apostle on his own account took the responsibility to discipline himself for him to be able to maintain and sustain his walk with God. No matter how much God went about building the man He will use, man still has a role to play in his yielding to the whole process to become relevant. He took it upon himself to subject himself under discipline for effective yielding and to be ever ready for the Master’s used. Discipline is part of life.

“But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.” (1Corianthians chapter 9 verses 27)

Conclusion:

It is a serious subject in the christendom about the man God uses. God is still search of the man He will use to reveal His Will on earth. Anyone who sincerely yields him or herself to be used by God, will be used.

“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” (Ezekiel chapter 22 verses 30)

It is your responsibility to purge oneself from the excesses that have been hindering the flow of God through a person. You are the only one who can tell yourself the truth. The man God uses is the man who constantly purges himself. The vessel God uses must meet the standard, and keep maintaining the standard.
