7 keys to open heaven
- True worship:
23 – “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 – God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” (John chapter 4 verses 23 to 24)
- Prayer:
21 – “Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,
22 – And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.” (Luke chapter 3 verses 21 to 22)
To enjoy open heaven, you must be a person of prayer.
17 – “Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
18 – And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.” (James chapter 5 verses 17 to 18)
- Praises and Thanksgiving:
“But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.” (Psalms chapter 22 verses 3)
5 – “Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
6 – Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.” (Psalms chapter 67 verses 5 to 6)
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” (Psalms chapter 100 verses 4)
- Giving:
10 – “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11 – And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
12 – And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Malachi chapter 3 verses 10 to 12)
- Faith:
Absolute trust in God brings open heaven.
20 – “But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21 – Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 – Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23 – And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24 – Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25 – Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 – For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” (James chapter 2 verses 20 to 26)
- Meditating on God’s Word:
“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Joshua chapter 1 verses 8)
- Live a life of consecration:
“But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.” (1Corianthians chapter 9 verses 27)
1 – Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 – But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 – And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” (Psalms chapter 1 verses 1 to 3)
