You can’t make it alone
Your dream can always come through when you realise you need people to be able to make your dream a reality
There is no single person who will say he made it alone. There is more to do in this life that you need the association of others to get to your desired end. There is no significant accomplishment someone has achieved that does not comprise the help of others. Association is one of the vital factors to a greater accomplishment in life. One is only adviced to stay alone when he or she is about associating with the wrong people.
Where you are planning to go, some persons have been there. Where you are trying to visit, some persons have visited there. Where you are hoping to get through, some person are there already. Where you still desire to be, is a dream come through to some persons. Where you are aiming at, is already a reality to some persons. Your dream can always come through when you realise you need people to be able to make your dream a reality.
You need others to make a significant impact to your generation
There is a slogan by the Liverpool football club which says, ‘Never walk alone’. This life is a game of team work. When they say never walk alone it is never compulsory for everyone. They are not trying to force it on anyone. One can choose to walk alone if that is what pleases him or her. But for one to leave a significant impact he or she must learn never to walk alone. You can’t be part of the good team if your desire is to walk alone.
No single person walks alone and survives it in the team. If you are the kind who always depend on your ability alone that you don’t care about others around you and what they can bring on the table, you will soon realise that you are the only one who gains your respect. You can’t gain people’s respect by despising their ability to make the team work. You need others to make a significant impact to your generation.
The beauty of life is not that we can do nothing, the beauty of life is when we can still leverage others to achieve what we desire to achieve
You can imagine a football team that everyone is a goalkeeper. Who then will be the defenders or midfielders or strikers, even before the middle of the season that very team will be relegated. There is little to achieve when one never admits the important and relevance of others. The beauty of life is not that we can do nothing, the beauty of life is when we can still leverage others to achieve what we desire to achieve.
8 – There is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath neither child nor brother: yet is there no end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a sore travail.
9 – Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
10 – For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
11 – Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?
12 – And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” (Ecclesiastes chapter 4 verses 8 to 12)
You might be hurt, but there is a reason to give people chance in your life
Yes I understand the fact that people must have betrayed you in the past, and that created a huge wound in your heart that is unbearable. It was someone you trusted with everything you have, you helped him or her when it was as though his or her hope was crushed. You were the reason why he or she was able to gather him or herself and keep pressing on. But when you were in a terrible situation and needed their help, they acted as though they never knew you. You are the reason they are successful today but they are the reason for your downfall.
In all, you still have a reason to give people chance. This time you have to be very careful with people. Your ability alone cannot make you achieve greatness. You need the abilities of others to achieve greatness. You might be hurt, but there is a reason to give people chance in your life. You will always have the best team, when you are able to define what kind of people you want in your life.
Conclusion:
You don’t play sentiment while selecting the team you need for great accomplishments. Anyone who does not deserve to be part of the team should not be allowed to be part of the team in the first place. We can make it great when we realised how great it is for us to work as a team trusting each other.
