HOW TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SEASON

How to take advantage of the season

 

11 – “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

12 – Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

13 – There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” (1Corianthians chapter 10 verses 11 to 13)

 

  1. Call for repentance:

12 – “And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.

13 – If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

14 – If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2Chronicles chapter 7 verses 12 to 14)

 

  1. Call to revived one altar:

28 – “Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

29 – He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

30 – Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31 – But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah chapter 40 verses 28 to 31)

 

  1. Call to impart the world through spreading the word:

18 – “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 – Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 – Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Mathew chapter 28 verses 18 to 20)

 

  1. Call to review that goal and vision:

1 – “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

2 – And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

3 – For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” (Habakkuk chapter 2 verses 1 to 3)

 

  1. Call to finishing well:

6 – “For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

7 – I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

8 – Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” (2Timothy chapter 4 verses 6 to 8)
