Facts why prayer is vital
“Pray without ceasing.” (1Thessalonian chapter 5 verses 17)
1. To become a successful Christian and to rule your world you must have a prayer life.
2. Nothing God had promised anyone will come to passed if he or she does not pray.
3. It is not what you are doing as a business or career that matters, it is what you are doing behind your business or career that matters.
4. Just like humans cannot live without air, a believer cannot become successful without prayer.
5. You don’t need the condition to be favourable before you pray. You can pray even when you do not feel like praying.
24 – “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 – But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.” (Mathew chapter 13 verses 24 to 25)
When men slept: (meaning)
-Men can sleep and the enemy can take advantage of that.
– Men not being vigilant the enemy can strike.
– Men not having a prayer life the enemy can rob them.
– Men should always be vigilant and alert.
His enemy: (Meaning)
– Every believer has an enemy.
– The enemy wants one to go asleep so that he can manoeuvre things.
– Someone does not means well for you.
– Someone seeks for your downfall and humiliation.
Sowed tares: (Meaning)
-Throwing confusion.
– Creating enmity, envy and bitterness.
– Plant evil thoughts.
Among the wheat: (Meaning)
– The right kind of people.
– Those who are visionary.
– Those who are focus.
– Those who are purpose driven.
Went his way: (Meaning)
– Mission accomplished.
– Stand by and be watching.
– Smiling , rejoicing and jubilation.

Prayer is vital in the life of any believer. It is only a lazy Christian who does not pray. The devil knows you are a believer. He will always want to strike and strike heavily. You have to be vigilant never to succumb to the devil’s tricks. If prayer does not make sense to you as a believer, living a successful Christian life will as well not make sense to you.
