7 keys to radical progress
- Make up your mind to move forward.
“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians chapter 3 verses 14)
- Forget about your past victory.
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,” (Philippians chapter 3 verses 13)
13 – “Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
14 – Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
15 – I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.
16 – Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
17 – Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.
18 – Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 – Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah chapter 43 verses 13 verses 19)
- Catch a fresh vision.
“And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:” (Genesis chapter 13 verses 14)
2 – “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3 – For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” (Habakkuk chapter 2 verses 2 to 4)
- You need to be tire of where and level you are.
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” (Mark chapter 11 verses 12)
39 – “And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;
40 – And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.” (Genesis chapter 27 verses 39 to 40)
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” (Mark chapter 11 verses 23)
“For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” (Mark chapter 5 verses 28)
Until you are desperate to move forward, you can’t move forward.
- You have to go for knowledge.
“Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.” (Mathew chapter 9 verses 17)
“If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” (Proverbs chapter 24 verses 10)
“A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.” (Proverbs chapter 24 verses 5)
“Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.” (Proverbs chapter 23 verses 23)
God stops His work in one’s life where the knowledge he or she has for God stops.
- You have to go new opportunity.
“As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” (Galatians chapter 6 verses 10)
- Believe in your prophet.
“And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” (2Chronicles chapter 20 verses 20)
“Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.” (Joshua chapter 1 verses 2)
“And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the LORD thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of the LORD; and by their word shall every controversy and every stroke be tried:” (Deuteronomy chapter 21 verses 5)
8 – “Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.
9 – And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.
10 – So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
11 – And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
12 – But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
13 – And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.” (Exodus chapter 17 verses 8 to 13)
The battle Joshua fought was controlled from the mountain.
