When we appeared in god’s presence
Why will satan come to present himself among the sons of God knowing full well that he has no right to be there for he has committed treason?
6 – “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
7 – And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.” (Job chapter 1 verses 6 to 7)
I began to wonder why the devil will have this boldness to step into gathering of God’s children. Why will satan come to present himself among the sons of God knowing full well that he has no right to be there for he has committed treason? Satan is mean that when he stepped in he came for a course. He was never in such gathering to wile away time. He actually came for a course.
Yes, satan was trying to force an announcement of his presence in such gathering
When satan stepped into such gathering, he knew he was never wanted there. He knew that was not a place he should be. He knew no one was ever expecting him in such a gathering. He knew he was the least anyone could ever imagine to surface in such gathering. Satan knew he has lost it all and there is no amendment for him for the treason he committed in the heavens and that he committed by making man to disobey God by yielding to his deception.
I found out from the scripture above that when satan found himself in the gathering of the sons of God, he did not act as though he was a stranger. He was acting as though this is where I used to be. He understood the whole place and what it takes to appear before the King of glory. He needs recognition. Yes, satan was trying to force an announcement of his presence in such gathering. Because satan was there for a course, he wanted an opportunity for him to pull out his heart and agenda.
Satan will always want to show himself.
In church today people come to church being demon possessed. You don’t think everyone is normal when we appear in our respective denominations to worship the Lord Almighty. Satan came to cause distraction. He causes misunderstanding among the workers when they should focus and concentrate on the program of the day. We should understand that devil cannot operate on it’s own except he finds a vessel in the person of man then he can operate.
Whenever there is a misunderstanding whenever the people of God appear in mount Zion, the people of God should know that devil has stepped in. Satan will always want to show himself. He will always want his presence recognised. Of course he has to reveal that through causing dispute among brethren. That is the devil’s nature. He can’t exhibit something good. Satan is full of evil and whenever you see evil start spreading among the brethren, satan is there and that needs to be addressed without further hesitation.
Satan is behind every work of darkness and there is no communication between light and darkness
This is the reason behind Obadiah chapter 1 verses 17 said,
“But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”
The very verse says upon mount Zion shall be deliverance. You can see whenever the children of God gather, the first thing that is needed to take place is deliverance. The bible should not have been talking about deliverance if there is no need for it. The bible should not have pointed it out if it is not necessary. Satan is behind every work of darkness and there is no communication between light and darkness. Every darkness in the life of the people should be cast out through the application and enforcement of the blood of Jesus Christ.
We enter into the holy of holies through the blood of Jesus Christ
We can clearly see from the scripture above that until there is absolute deliverance, everyother thing shall be obstructed. That is the reason some persons come to mount Zion and they leave the same without any move of God in their lives. People come to church, while some persons can sense the saturation of God’s presence over the place, some other persons are mopping around as though they are spectators who came to see how God will move in the life of others and theirs is no avail. The truth is that deliverance did not happened in their lives for them to queue in for the move of God in their lives.
Once there is no proper deliverance upon individual’s life, it will be difficult for some persons to access God in the service. We enter into the holy of holies through the blood of Jesus Christ. Pleading the blood of Jesus upon oneself by faith, brings deliverance upon oneself. The book of Revelation says ‘And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb.’
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Revelation chapter 12 verses 11)
Conclusion:
“And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.” (Job chapter 1 verses 7)
Devil is still going to and fro in the churches. This is one of the attributes of the devil and We have to be conscious of it. The application of the blood of Jesus Christ by faith is the power tool to enforce deliverance in the life of an individual. It is an individual’s responsibility to conduct a fresh deliverance upon him or herself through the application of the blood of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus Christ still speaks of mercy. Constantly apply it in your life.
